Panic over, I'm here.

Blunderland come to Anfield for a hammering tomorrow night and a hammering is what they'll get. We're on the march to the title and no smelly mackhams are gonna halt the Red train!
Borini can't play against us so that's good, I have a good feeling about it and with my track record this season I think it's obvious we're gonna knock 'em for 6.

LFC 6 - 0 Sunderland

Here's the Team bus, it set off last night for the day and a half journey to Merseyside. stopping 3 times for coal, 19 p!ss stops and once after it overtook a pushbike and overheated.

Been waiting so long I forgot what i was going to say, oh yes, i reckon they will have 11 men behind the ball and try and shut us out but still be 5-0 to us. Sakho should start to give him game time ready for the weekend.

Bit presumptuous. I'm not sure he'll walk back into the side.

I think they will surrender at half time.

Nice to be at home again, and the atmosphere should be superb. Cricket score predicted.   :buttrock

I would go with

                                                        Mignolet

                        Johnson        Skrtel               Sakho             Flanno

                                        Henderson              Gerrard
                                                        Coutinho

                                  Suarez           Sturridge           Sterling

well yeah I agree that but historically Rodgers doesn't change a winning side much.

Great post Leeroy

COME ON YOU REDS !!!! No slip up - no mistakes! If we play the pressing game we are capable of it could be a long night for Sunderland.

Sunderland would have been as tricky as Cardiff if we were playing away, but since we're at home and especially considering how big the support is going to be from the fans for this one, I think we should have no problems.

Maybe it's not fair to bench Agger because of just one bad game but Sakho needs game time too so I'd start with him.

Is everybody forgetting that Sunderland are in the bottom three and fighting for Premiership survival ?

Yeah, on paper and given our form we have the quality to comfortably beat them BUT they're fighting for there lives and are not gonna just roll over.

We have to be focused and on our toes for this and every game as we sprint to the finish.

Hopefully the team won't dismiss the opposition as readily as some in here do.

If the over-confident attitude shown in here is on the minds of our players, then we'll be in trouble.  However, we should still trounce these guys.

I'd start with Sakho as well. I think he's the one we need to build our defense around for the next few years, and we'll need him ready for the rest of the season.

City beat the mancs, we have dropped to 3rd but Arsenal slipped up & are 4th as it sits now with Everton breathing down their necks.

We win this game & a little gap opens up between 3rd and 4th.

I am a little nervous about this.
We are appearing too over confident - we as fans I mean.
Let's hope the lesson of Aston Villa at home has been learned.
Every side in the premiership have the potential to take points of one another and these did go to Everton and win, when nobody else has.

We should be too good but lets play at a high tempo as we have in most other home games.
Look to get the early goal and demoralise them early.
