Carroll's touches, passing and hold up play were superb tonight and he really brought a lot to the teams performance tonight and he was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself in the first half. If we can just get regular performances like that out of him then hopefully the goals will follow.
For me KK has to give him a run of games now, especially if we can keep Gerrard fit and Suarez out of trouble and they can all build an understanding over the close of this season.

What a great team performance. Stevie, just out of this world.

I actually thought we were a bit dodgy at the back. A lot of the time we seemed to follow the ball or just run towards our goal instead of holding our positions and picking up players. Two or three times Everton got the ball to the byline and just played the wrong ball, because they had players unmarked lining up on the 18yd line.

I was pleased with our forward play, Carrolls flick ons were working, Luis was a menace and Stevie was classic Stevie. Henderson, who I still hope and believe will make the grade, was pretty poor, he failed to put in crosses even without pressure.

that was a great win.vintage stevie gerrard.
as bad bob said a page back,a million % improvement from the sunderland game.
gerrard naturally gets motm and deservedly so,kelly was magnificent and so was suarez.not forgetting andy, enrique, skyrtel and spearing who all played well.
hopefully that can boost morale and confidence for the players and we can go on a run of wins from here.
it feels great to get a much deserved win.

Goes to show what we could do with a proven goal scorer week in, week out. The building blocks are in place, we just miss the final piece, the next Owen, Fowler, Torres.....

Well done Reds.

Fucking get in 3 points, 3 goals and  three very influential players finally gelling .I thought Suarez was fantastic earlier and linked superbly
with Gerrard and Carroll . Any win against the Bitterz is a good one ,but Gerrard taking the ball home really did rub their little blue faces in it .

Glorious

Immense performance from all the lads tonight and a fantastic feeling, especially after all the pre-match b0llocks about our run of poor form, Everton's resurgence and "Moyes's 10 years" presenting a great opportunity for an upset. As if they ever had a f'ucking chance :D

Never in doubt !

In fairness to Moyes though, he has done a fantastic job at Everton, considering what he has.

Great result Great performance.

Andy Carroll had probably his best game for us so far, got through a lot of work and some good touches, finally beginning to look as though he could actually play with Suarez (and Gerrard) .
