Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby red till i die!! » Fri Dec 31, 2010 4:23 am

f.cuk knows what the result will be but i'd like to see something different on saturday simply because we couldnt be any worse.
                                        reina.
                         kelly     soto      agger     aurelio.
                        johnson  gerrard meireles   cole.
                                    torres   jovanovich.
subs;skyrtel,lucas,kuyt,maxi,babel,ngog,poulsen,konchesky.
prob the most unlikely line up ever:D .
as always i'l be wishing that we will win the next game 8 or 9.0 but that would also be the most unlikely result  :D.
anyway bolton will be coming for the 3pts so i hope our boys are prepared.

Bolton will park the bus, then try to sneak a goal. Either way, this is going to be a hard game (to watch as well).

We said the same thing about Wolves, and they went for it.

Bolton will go for it after seeing Blackpool and Wolves pressing us from the start, they will do the same thing and get a result. Plus I haven't seen Coyle park the bus against the big teams.

Hodgson's win %age is actually lower than Souness'  :D

anyway when was the last time Bolton beat us at our place? Surely we're getting at least a point here?  :O

0 - 2 to Bolton

Keep your eyes open for Owen Coyle - possible next LFC manager?

I'd take him tmrw.

I want Holloway now, I think the guy is the right amount of crazy to make a go of it and he'll attack every side he plays. Also his press conferences will be a complete 180 on Hodgsons, in that he'll either say something positive or something completely nuts that'll be funny as hell. Somehow I dont think he'll stand for one of Torres stroppy fits either

not sure when they last beat us at home but doubt it was as long as the time taken by wolves.
bolton had a few decent sides over the years so prob wasnt that long ago.
i thought we'd steamroll wolves on wed and they beat us quite comfortably,id say we will do well to win this one.

here you go.
from 365 betting site.

Liverpool Bolton Odds Free Bets
It may have been eight games since Bolton last beat Liverpool, and the Trotters may have never beaten Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League, but the 4/6 offered by Bet365 for Liverpool to win is a ridiculous price considering their recent form.
Liverpool have taken seven points from their last seven league games and could only scrape a 1-0 victory at the Reebok earlier in the season thanks to a late winner from Maxi Rodriguez in a dire performance .
However the last time Liverpool lost consecutive home games in the Premier League was over the New Years weekend in the 04/05 season.

Bolton are in great shape at the moment under Coyle and at 4/1 to beat the Reds, the Wanderers look the best bet of the New Years Day action.

Bolton have managed just 11 goals on the road this season and Liverpool just 15 at home suggesting that Anfield will be subject to a New Years snooze fest and under 2.5 goals is priced at 10/11.
The losing side has only managed to score on two of the last fourteen occasions suggesting a clean sheet for the winning side, and a 1-0 win for Bolton is priced at 8/1.
Both teams keeping a clean sheet would result in a 0-0 draw and at 10/1, punters would be getting a great price.

Let's start the New Year with a win..

Hopefully this is the lineup;

Reina
Johnson Skrtel Agger Aurelio
Kuyt Lucas Meireles Maxi
Gerrard
Torres

2-0 to us..not saying that with any confidence, just wishful thinking.

Well, I'm looking forward to this game... I want to see Coyle's team in action once more to help make a decision in my own mind if he is the right man for the job.
