Should have had a penalty but there you go... Aqualani, from what I saw, looked like a very decent player. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Maybe get half a game against Lyon and then make his first start against Birmingham. Can't see him getting much more than he got tonight against Fulham (if at all)

Overall we didn't deserve to lose that.

Stone wall penalty not given after Stevie Wonder failed to see Senderos catch Aquilani's volley with two hands.  Really poor decision.  We'd easily have taken them in extra time too, they were completely out of gas.

Aquilani looked decent.

I agree, how we have rubbish like Babel and Voronin in our side is beyond me.

A retarded walrus could have tapped that ball in. Worst miss I have seen from a Liverpool player since Heskey's huff annd fluff a few years ago.

dont get me wrong I am bothered about losing but when you look at the strength of the team that was put out it hardly puts a bearing on the rest of the season. Arsenal away was always gonna be a struggle (a ground Rafa has never won at). They always do really well, when we drew them I was hardly optimistic in the first place, but then again some on here were saying it would be 4:0 and in the end we put up a decent fight

Keane missed like 10 of those last season.

We did much better than I expected tbh. I thought we might have had a bit of a drubbing tonight, and I thought we nearly held our own.

Disappointing to be out of the CC, but the performance was not too bad. Considering the line-up and the fact that it was at the Emirates, its not the end of the world.

I am just happy that we gave a good account of ourselves, Aquilani didnt look too bad on his debut either...
