I was against Roy Hodgson, but if he is the man to come in then he'll have my unwavering support from start to finish. If he can get the best out of our key players and inspire players like N'Gog and Lucas to performance more consistently than under Rafa while blooding in some youth (if they are good enough) then he'll have done a good job because our squad should not be finishing seventh in the league, that much I do know.

His first task will be trying to convince our key players that they shouldn't leave. Hopefully it shouldn't be more than a year before we are sold so he if can get them to hold of for just another season then maybe it will be enough to keep this squad from completely falling apart. Without Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano it will be 7th all over again.

Hicks & Gillett want a manager who will be obedient and a general yes man.  With that in mind its obvious they don't want to appoint Kenny who would has the good of the club at heart and who would have objected to any potential sale of Gerrard and Torres.  They'll see Hodgson as their man.

That is why I think they will get Ericsson because it will seem like we are showing ambition by getting a "top manager" but he will be there for them to rape the club.

I think there is one man more than any that would love to  be the manager of our club, it might be a bit soon for him but with Kenny at his side for a year I think Jamie Carragher should be offerd the job.
