LIVERPOOL VS WEST HAM UNITED - All the build up and reaction here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Garcia was very wasteful again, but what he offers over a season more than outweighs this problem. It would be nice though not to see it at all though.Last season he had a great patch of about 18 games when it looked as he had rectified this, but up to yet in the pre season and early games he is looking like the Garcia of his first season.

I don't think so.  Probably just very late WC hangover.

Every player has a bad patch, this might be his.

Damien Francis has put Watford on level terms with Man Utd.

Poor defending by Man Utd :D

A season and a half to judge a player is pushing it a bit in my opinion! Give him half a season. Looks like he'll be fine (Kuyt).

Giving a player a season and a half is not enough? At this rate, Pellegrino should be playing at CB for us.  :D

Ii give all players a season and a half to prove themselves, a lot of players don't get into their stride until the following season. I see a players first season at a new club and a new league as a learning period and one that shouldn't be judged upon.

Decent team performance in the latter half of the first half.

Kuyt really impressed...the true hallmark of a good player is the amount of space he manages to find amidst the break neck pace that is Premiership football.

Kuyt ALWAYS seemed to be in space when he received the ball or was passing the ball intelligently into space for others.

Will score and make a hatfull of assists on this showing.

I am glad to hear that our hero and former captain has done well on his debut on Anfield. Although we miss him here in Rotterdam we wish him nothing but the best at Liverpool.
Support him and he will pay you back with goals and 100% effort.

Greetings from holland!

Haha tnx aCe. In case of Kuijt we are huge fans yes, but that also is, because of everything he has done for Feyenoord.
He was/is a real Feyenoord player, not complaining, always working hard and performing well.
We have also sold Kalou to Chelsea and van Persie to Arsenal, but those guys were arrogant and thought they were the big stars of the club. Kuijt always stayed normal. That is why I am such big fan of him and that is why I envy Liverpool now!
