arsenal are a joke. as soon as any side gets physical with them they just don't want to know. today, sheffield united had jagielka in goal for the last half an hour and arsenal were still trying to walk the ball into the net from six inches. Also, that julio baptista plays like a plumber from chorley.

on a sour note though, fabregas picked up a 5th yellow which means he misses the fa cup tie! :D

Great result and with Ar.se loosing too.

Just wandering, not to start a conspiracy (but I will) isn't it odd how the top two got the easy fixtures at the start of the season, then over the festive period, both play home, against easy opposition (Chelski should have won normall ay) .. so what is this ay, some conspiracy ay :O

Benitez revealed Craig Bellamy was substituted early in the second half as a precaution after feeling a tightness in his hamstring and that Jerzy Dudek wasn't included because his wife gave birth last night.

That explains something.

The Bolton game will be huge - Anelka's suddenly lethal, and they're suddenly looking like a team worthy of a CL spot. It's up to us to make sure that it's Arsenal's they're sniffing after. And if Ivan Campo gets on the scoresheet for them I will put my head through a window.

Great result today. Spurs have been the form side in London of late, and it's always good to chalk up another away win.

12 home wins on the trot for spurs before today. Was unlucky 13 today :D thank god. Great clearing header by Finnan against the bar was just one of our lucky escapes, hopefully our luck has turned and we can start to make up ground on the leaders.

I know Stats aren't everything but Spurs only had 3 shots ON target today aginst our 7.

I'm NOT including Finnons header as one of Spurs On target strikes ! :D

We'll beat Bolton on New Years Day and leapfrog them into 3rd spot all being well. The BIG result today for us was Sheff Utd's 1-0 victory over Arsenal and the fact that Fabregas is missing for the FA Cup tie is massive bonus :p

Carra was immense. He blocked absolutely everything.

It was also brilliant to see Gerrard involved in that scuffle with Davenport towards the end - you could see him saying 'you're f#cking cr@p you' to him and he was really intimidated.

Made me smile anyway.

i agree with tht
with a midfielder in goal,ud expect a team to hit shoots from anywhere, but same oul arsenal
