Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby stmichael » Wed Jan 31, 2007 12:49 pm

First 30 minutes was like watching two teams 3 divisions apart. We barely broke a sweat, it was like watching a cat tap a mouse around the carpet, waiting for the moment to rip the poor animal to pieces. Came out 2nd half, upped the tempo for 20 minutes and the job was done. In the first twenty minutes of the second half we could have scored six. The second goal was majestic football imo. If Arsenal had scored it we'd have never heard the end of it.

On a positive note, I thought Agger was superb, whilst Carragher and Reina are back to their best. As for Dirk, he was terrible first half, mostly because he was playing way too deep and his touch isn't good enough to receive the ball in a crowded midfield. But that was some goal.

To be honest I was fuming after that last half an hour. Why take your foot off the pedal and offer the opposition any sort of glimpse when you're so superior? It pi$$ed me right off. If anything that game should have ended up a ruthless 4-0 win, yet we decided we'll f#ck about with the ball because we're so better than them. Also, taking Crouch off completely ruined our rhythm.

Oh and finally, Boa Morte is a horrible c#nt. The snidy, horrible diving ba$tard.

It was a good result and a decent performance. We looked as though we never got out of second gear, which in the end was enough. A job well done.

That linesman though, that was clearly offside the tw@t.

He needs a pair of these

Yet Andy Gray glossed over by declaring that you "deserve luck".

You deserve lamping via my fist you bulbous-headed halfwit.

Cheers for the clips St. Mick.  I caught the first half yesterday but missed all of the second.

Fantastic goals and a very important win.  We managed to win at a ground that the Mancs and Arsenal have both lost at this season, which is important.  Not sure it makes up for the opening day draw at Sheffield--eh Big Mick?--but it does continue our forward momentum.  Now, let's go out and steamroll those bitters on Saturday!  :buttrock

Good result, only ever in doubt because of yet another dodgy linesman decision.

F*cking gimps never give US the benefit of the doubt, do they?

Yet again, another example of Andy Gray getting too happy, when West Ham scored.
