Should beat West Ham, but they're not a bad team so it won't be easy. I predict 2-0.

Rafa has a number of injuries but we can still put a good side, it is a testament to the squad building he has done since he has arrived. I liked the way we played against Hafia and it looked a well balanced side, the team bellow is also well balance but I would like the wingers to get more involved, especially Pennent who needs to tuck in when the ball is on the other side. Kuyt should make his debut along side Bellamy, and that is our first team striker force. Gerrard gets the opportunity to play in the position he most enjoys, and Aurellio can further stake a claim as our best left back.

                   Reina

Finnan    Hyypia    Agger    Aurellio

Pennant  Gerrard   Alonso   Gonzalez

               Kuyt    Bellamy

Well we better get the win in this match, last season the win over west ham was what sent us on that first run of winning 10 games consecutively

I really can't see Rafa dropping Crouch from the starting lineup currently, he is full of confidence atm and Kuyt hasn't been tried in the Prem. Bellamy also has Premiership quality and at this time in the season I don't think Rafa will be taking any risks in starting Kuyt as this is a must win game as the mancs will probably have 9 points by the end of the weekend.

Has there been any news on Sissoko and Kewell, when will they be back?

So Momo's touch & go for the derby, probably won't be fit enough to start anyway, hopefully he'll be in the squad.

This is why e've been so busy in the transfer department, incase of injuries, and with the squad we've got now there should be no excuses really.

We have to watch Zamora, he is killing it at the moment and has scored 3 goals in 2 games.  We have to stop him and it looks in the bag.

Chelsea, it seemd according to the BBC sports website, were having a Drogba-Schevchenko who-scores-first contest against Boro.

It's always a team game and with more of a contest to come in midfield when Ballack and lampard resume their partnership, this should be a season of more intense rivalry in the "all-star" Chelsea team, with Mourinho now forced to play without his trusted rigid and pragmatic style of a lone powerful striker who batters the opposition and 2 fast wingers and Lampard who pick up the pieces and assault the goal.

Now, Schevchenko must play, as does Ballack and also Lampard with the holding midfielder having to do more work than merely sitting back. Chelsea should be more open to being attacked at the back and more vulnereble to concede.

As for us, I just hope we shurg off this rustiness look and get far more ruthless up front. I'm more concerned at Carra's abscence than Sissoko, as we should have Alonso-Gerrard axis back in the centre. I dread that Zenden will be used more in the centre now with htis injury problems.
