Liverpool v aston villa - Liverpool will rest gerrard

Liverpool will rest skipper Steven Gerrard, Luis Garcia and Jamie Carragher.  Also Djibril Cisse is due to start his first game this year.


Liverpool (from): Dudek, Finnan, Hyypia, Pellegrino, Traore, Kewell, Biscan, Hamann, Riise, Smicer, Alonso, Nunez, Cisse, Baros, Carson, Warnock, Welsh, Potter.

I know it's our last game but i would play

                       Dudek
Finnan    Pellegrino    Hyypia  Traore

Nunez     Welsh  Hamann    Biscan    Kewell

                       Cisse

I agree but wud play warnock instead of Djimi but shud nt we play nando seeing as he can t play in the CL final anyway

play 4-4-2 and have Nando and Cisse up front?

I read somewhere today that Nando's struggling with a thigh strain, not sure if its true though

Hyypia wont play and carra is Captain tomorrow :buttrock

If carra plays today he will be captain instead of hyppia and Carra wud be another player to play all season.

cisse shouls also play, he needs some while to return to his best
