LFC need 1 or 2 goals in this game I fear.

Arsenal could well score at Anfield.

I dont think relying on Torres and Gerrard alone will get us through the Quarter finals.

I also fear a pasting at the hands of Arsenal. (like man u game!)

unbiased footballing opinion: they are a better footballing side all round than us, and Rafa's record V arsenal since arriving is very poor in the previous meetings.

How many wins home or away versus Arsenal for us? or goals for that matter.

this is the one team I did not want to draw.

See which Liverpool turns up shall we.

this game will be nerves and agony. Can't bear to watch...

??? :rasp

Ill pray shall I....... (for Rafa to keep his job come may)

Liverpool 1 - 0 Arsenal.

Thats what I hope, but I think a 1-1 draw.

This is probably the most difficult fixture to predict.  It is really close.

worrying is abt gerrard , if he picks up another yellow card , its gonna be tough without him , i hope gerrard does calm down when going into challenges without affecting his performance

You are either an idiot or a wind up merchant, and quite possibly both. There is a World of difference between acknowledging that arsenal are a very dangerous team and this sort of tosh.

"I fear a pasting at the hands of Arsenal". "Arsenal could well score at anfield". "See which Liverpool team turn up shall we".

:D Well I mean he make Peewee look like he's happy clappy in comparison to his good self. I don't think he's a Liverpool supporter to be perfectly honest.

Maybe he is a WUM or an idiot but lets be honest here, he does have a few points.

Which Liverpool will turn up, fair enough question if you ask me. The team that turned up against Man U or the better half.

I dont fear a "pasting" but like he said depending on which Liverpool turn up a 3-0 result against Man U or a 6-3 result at home to Arsenal could be on the cards if we dont go out there and do the job properly.

I know its Europe, and we are a very good side in Europe. But we are playing Arsenal who are a very good outfit. The tie at the emirates stadium will be similar to that of a Prem fixture I reckon, and if it is we'll be in for a tough time. As domesticaly Rafa rarely gets it right over the other big three.

Chelsea in Europe though, different proposition and cannot be compared to Arsenal. Mourinho like Rafa is pragmatic and a little cautious which is why we edge these affairs in Europe against them, as Rafa can outwit the special one. But outwit Wenger on an even playing I'm not so sure. I hope so but Arsenal no doubt will be a threat, I didnt want to draw them or Man Yoo for that matter.

I just hope we go out their and give it our best, get the rub of the green and hope Arsenal choke on the CL stage again.
