he`s been here 7 years, is one of our best players and has ynwa tattoo`ed across his knuckles.
if fsg decide to cash in on him thats me finished with footy and i mean that.
the day we sell one of our best players to one of our direct rivals when he clearly wants to stay is as far as i`m concerned the day this club stops being the football club i grew up watching.

the bottom line in that headline reads:
"Agger now even more wants to become one of the most popular Liverpool players, and he will be known for an unheard loyalty, in an otherwise faithless footballing world.".

Hello
First of all im Danish and my English skills arent too good, but i hope i can make myself understandable anyway.
Just to elabroate on the Danish newspaper it says :
The big headline : He is going to be a legend ( yea yea it sells papers)
Second headline :Agger has put his foot down and refused to change to Man City eventhough the maneger wanted to sell him.
and third headline you have allready qoyed correct.
In the paper he is also asked about his new YNWA tatoo and says :
The tatoo has nothing to do with the current situration. Its out of respect to the Kop, the Clup, the people around the club and the city.
Sincerlly
Danish Agger supporter and Liverpool sympathizer.

So im guesing that would be the owners of the club.
The article futhermore quote Agger for saying he hasnt been ask his opinion in this matter from the management, which seems ( im reading a bit between the lines here ) to surprise Agger a bit.
Agger ends this part of the interview by saying : Thats the way the club has decided to do it.
Agger ends the interview by saying it a bit more diplomatic :
I would rather stay and i couldnt imagine Playing for another club, but you never know, if the club finds selling me is the better chooice.

I assume both agents resisted so the club linked them with away. Remember Citech were first linked with Big Mart - then it went quiet and he has his 4 year deal. Agger (ice cream wouldn't melt in his mouth) is linked (by the club, not him) with a move to Barca or Citeh - which he states he knows nothing about and seems genuinely alarmed about - then someone mentiones a long term deal and Agger today says he wants to stay at Liverpool. To me its Fenway playing hardball - and they're right - breaking player power. 'Here's the deal, accept it or its the highroad for you sonny'. Bear in mind the owners backing wage caps, Fifa sustainable finance whatever its called etc.. Soon you'll find only Chavski, Citech and Ure support high wages, the foreigners will move out and British lads will have a fair chance again. Viva.
