Listen mate console yourself in the fact its not a large section of our support ,(more the grumbling minority that inhabit the internet forums )if it was a larger percentage of our fans then you wouldn't hear his name still being shouted at Anfield

The manager keeps making ridiculous mistakes and you expect the players to be unaffected?

dear god no!! please don't say we are going down to THAT level

he is sh*t and should NEVER have anything to do with us EVER  :no  :no

I wouldnt want him, he is not the calibre of manager that we should be looking for.
But i dont think he is sh!t either. He done a very good job at Blackburn and a decent one with Wales as well.

sorry mate i just don't rate the bloke think he got lucky at blackburn and then what the feck city saw in him i will NEVER understand  :no

Spot on. If he made a promise to win the league but actually finished second and won the UCL, people wouldn't say he should be go because he failed to deliver on a "promise". They'd say he should stay because he did a good job. The obverse applies.

We need a manager who the players will look up to and respect for their achievements and strong character
Mark Hughes is not that person

Alan Shearer
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Rafa is a top European manager but a 2nd rate English league manager- he just hasnt got his head around this league---a single push for the league in his six seasons isn't good enough- top 4 isnt the bench mark but is most certainly a minimum requirement.  I've been slated about the Europa league and i agree a trophy is a trophy I just hope it doesnt buy Rafa another season , we all know he is a very good cup manager........
and he does seem to love liverpool and the club but is that really enough? we can't be sentimental , we are in serious trouble if man city get champ's league football- they have money and if they get 4 th then they have every chance of being a new chelsea. Chelsea were a lesser club in terms of strength  before roman abram. I;m not particular worried if Spurs get 4th but Man City could become a serious threat to us- re: players etc

I'd be interested to see how Rafa would fare in Spain against Barcelona now, at Madrid or elsewhere.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Infact, I'm getting to the point where I'm becoming ashamed of a large section of our "support".

i echo that shout......

It's a bit harsh , its liverpool fc not rafael benitez fc,  end of the day everyone wants the best for liverpool - i think fans would back benitez if we were actually seeing progress, he can never been knocked down for winning the champions league but we have not got any closer to winning a league under benitez than we had under gerrard houllier, we were a handful games away from the holy grail with both evans in his time and with houllier in his time.
