Rafa will still be at the club next season, simply because as I've said before it suits the owners perfectly to have him still around. Should the club be sold of course all that will change and the first job of any new owner will be looking for a new man. I don't expect that will be for a good while yet though given the "core support" the manager still incredibly enjoys, so I'm afraid we are all going to have to get used to the idea of Rafa for a good while yet (I'm not happy about it either, it's just the way I see it).
I strongly suspect that once it becomes clear that the owners simply have no desire whatsoever to get rid of him unless they are absolutely forced into it (why spend 16 million quid which you'll never get back on a business you are trying to sell?), all these stories about the "big clubs" which are forming a queue for Rafa's services will subside. Guilliem Ballaque and other "sources" of his type who are "close to Rafa" will go nice and quiet, and we can all start worrying about next season and trying to guess which excuses will be trotted out this time.
