Don't tar everyone with the same brush mate. It might get like that on matchdays when people log in to vent there anger but there a significant number of fans on here who have come around to the idea of a new manager slowly, reluctantly and in their own time, who respect and are thankful for great nights he has given but also realistic enough to see that we need a change.
A new man might not deleiver number 19 BUT I don't think he'd have us struggling in 6th/7th position crossing our fingers for help to snatch 4th place on the last days of the season either.
I ask then would the new manager be as successful as Rafa in Europe? Bar this season, Rafa's record in the CL spoke for itself.

Thats my main gripe with most fans that are still behind Rafa.
It appears to me that they think we are doing all we can and that whoever was manager this season would have been the same.
To me thats ludicrous, someone else could come in and get more from these players.
Christ sake Rafa won the champions league with houlliers failing team.
Sometimes a change is needed.
Maybe the players have just lost motivation with the way the season has gone as opposed to the man in charge - if they cant give 100% for the club because of the guy in charge then they need to take a big hard look at themsleves and ask if they deserve they massive amount of money given to them
People think bringing someone new in would all of a sudden turn things around and watch us win the league etc ?
What happens when it doesnt next season with a new manager ?
Demand another new one ? then the same with the next season
So has Capello NOT improved England then. He has more or less the same players as McClaren did but from my impartial position I would have to say that England look a far far better team now.
It is ridiculous to suggest a new manager can't change the fortunes of a club, when it has happened time after time after time. Were you saying the same thing before Rafa took over?
Besides the fact that Mclaren is not even a PL class manager, managing a club compared to a national team is very different.
s@int wrote:Yeah, whats the point of keeping and paying huge salaries to players like Torres, Gerrard, Masch, Reina etc, we can't win anything, no decent manager will want to manage us anyway so we may as well just sell them off and bring in cheap cr@p from the 2nd division. Get Warnock or Fat Sam in to manage them..... at least the football will be better.
FFS get a grip on yourselves. We are fecking Liverpool, and while that may not have the same impact as 20 years ago we are still one of the biggest names in world football. Managers dream of managing us, players still would love to come here FFS.

s@int wrote:Why should Torres come to Liverpool when he could have got more with other teams. While your world seems to revolve around money, most players/managers do have other priorities alongside the money. Kaka wouldn't join Citeh, Ribery has today said he wants to go to Spain rather than Chelsea because of his wife etc etc.
We will always attract top managers and players because we are a big club with a large fan base and surprisingly we still pay top wages in an area where the cost of living is relatively cheap in comparison with say London. Maybe we can't compete with the likes of Madrid, or Chelsea but neither can most other clubs.
At the moment Spain is probably the top destination for both players and managers because of the exchange rate, climate, low cost of living and low tax rate, however the lure of the premiership and the FACT that Mourinho has already said that he does not want to manage in Spain may enable us to tempt him or someone of similar standard to come. He may be tempted by the lure of the Euro, then again he may decide that he wants to be a manager rather than a coach and go where he has said he would LIKE to manage ......in the premiership.
Personally I have no worries about us attracting a top manager, my main concerns are that people are so accustomed to failure and have such low asperations that we won't change manager.
