Who knows mate, that's my answer.

I'll spin it around. how long do you think it will take Rafa?

For me I'm guessing it all depends on which players are brought in during the summer and how many games we can get both torres and gerrard playing together . The question wasn't really aimed at yourself or saint more at the people who think we would win the title if maureen arrived

Also there is nothing to say that things could get easily get worse if Kenny took over due to his lack of experience over the last 20 years . I know you keep skating over it saint but but how long has he been out of the job again ?

Question 1

I refer you to the many times I have answered this one -He would deserve another season even if my belief is that it may do more harm than good.

Question 2

10 years since he was last manager of a club. 10 years since he last won a trophy.

Ten years ? Which trophy was that ? And do you not think ten years is a long time to be out of football management and I beleive it's 14 years since prem trophy and 12 years since managed in prem with Newcastle

He took over as manager of Celtic after Barnes left and won a trophy as manager 2000

he changed the whole club
he got players like Sami Hyypia, he dominated the box like Carraghar does now, Hyypia might have done even better
Gerrard Houllier left the club in 2005 or 2004
Look at it this way, Benitez won the champions league and FA Cup in 2005
That was when Gerrard Houllier had made a strong squad and made sure that it was ready for any battle
Benitez just took that squad and won with it, sure he added Alonso but nothing else
Gerrard Houllier had the club ready, it was him in 2005
Since Benitez came he bought people like Kuyt, Alonso, Johnson, Babel and Aquilini
Those are good buy's but Benitez need's to put them in use
Houllier knew Hyppia was a good defender and he knew his heading accuracy was perfect so he got him
He made Stevie G captain
I know Benitez has done good, he made us come second last season but is that it??
Has he even won anything after the year 2005?? Might have but Benitez was never as good as Gerrard Houllier
Jose Mourinho would be a good manager for us, he would actually get us somewhere
Martin O Neil, i know he doesnt have much experience to manage a club like Liverpool, but he would be a good try

He also added Garcia and both him and xabi were highly instrumentalin us winning cl in 2005 then he won the fa cup in 2006 after bringing in players like crouch and pepe another two players who were instreumental in us winning that trophy .

Whoa calm yourself down there mate , I'm just trying to find out why you feel someone who hasn't managed in the top flight of football for 12 odd years could do the job again now when we consider how much the game has changed . Even the win for Blackburn was helped greatly by Jack Walkers money .

And why would you think that a manager that has FAILED to win the prem for 6 years is suddenly going to turn things around ?

Dalglish won the title 3 times and never finished lower than second place with Liverpool, finished second and won the title with Blackburn and finished second with Newcastle. Rafa has managed second once when we had a blessed season with luck.

Years ago saint , if he had done it maybe a couple years I would agree but he won those trophies nearly two decades ago for us when the prem was a totally different animal to what it is now plus he had the boot ro to help him massively , and while he has been away he has not been involved in football one single bit . All points to me that it would be abig mistake from day one

And how come we can come second with a season blessed with good luck yet people can't say we have had a lot of bad luck this season ?!

Your opinion and you are welcome to it, my opinion is that he has not been in a time capsule and will still recognise a good player from a bad one. I am even quite confident he knows TORRES PLAYS FOR US.

btw you are very handy at keep asking questions...... you don't seem too hot at answering them!

Very happy to answer questions . What a out the fact the prem is totally different now to what it was back then with the whole money talks and breeds success scenario and in fact it was prob kenny who started it all with the bankrolling of a title from big jack ? When kenny won the titles for us it wasn't just about who could buy the best players and be able to spend the most fees and wages ? It was a more even level playing field and then sky came along and it all changed . That's before even mentioning the massive extreme pressure he would find himself under from all corners -then you could and in the lunacy of the new found message board / phone in / Internet fan who would be demanding for his head the minute he played a player they didn't like or didn't play they tactic they liked or we drop further down the table because we can't compete with other clubs financially . Finally there is off course our owners - when kenny was in charge he had an owner
behind him who loved for club for the football and for what the club stood for not like our current owners who go behind each others back , go behind the managers back and are looking to make a quick buck .

As I said a lot has changed since that awful day when kenny had to walk away . I for one believe he should never ever be subjected to that pressure ever again and let him gracefully enjoy his life helping out behind he scenes with the kids and dedicating his work to his wifes cancer trust

What language are you speaking ? Any chance you could sum it up in a well thought out post as opposed to the incorrect rubbish your shouting with lots of question marks inbetween .
