Amazing how Kuyt is being put on a pedestal after a game against one of the CL whipping boys. Dutch champions or not, they are a very poor side. Kuyt played as well as he could, some feel like they would like to rim him while the rest still maintain he lacks enough quality. He reminds me a lot of Hunt at Reading, except he scored a few in the league

jeez you people are not getting it are you?

Right side of a front 3 he does a job.

Right side of midfield he is terrible.

So if you think that, then who is at fault?

Your at fault mate , for finding fault ,where the is none at the minute .

You worry far to much....... :D

My at fault? What does that mean?

I said IF you think that. You clearly don't, but IF you did think that, whose fault is it that he's terrible at right midfield?

I worry about the mancs overtaking our record. Do you not?

It's only a debate , were winning ,playing better by the game , we look more balanced , what's the problem . What part of the season are we at , come back to me after chrimbo and we'll debate then about the mancs catching up , until then enjoy the ride and worry a little bit less ,you'll live longer i promise. :;):

Cool, I won't expect any new posts from you til then eh?

In the meantime perhaps spend some time not being a patronising idiot and maybe go and work on your grammar.

are they ? how is that ? so far most be debating what he brought to the team last night and what he does bring to the team and contributing . cant see any overstating myself ? no declarations of brilliance or suddenly becoming world class - most people saying he deserves credit when its due but some dont and never will give credit where and when its due

If you don't think he is good enough fair enough but just leave it at that, there is nothing you can do about it. He is in the squad, a big part of Rafa's plans by the looks of things. Back your team, back your players.

Untill Kuyt starts playing well below par im backing him and the manager and I think you should do the same

is 1988 the year you was born mate? I had been going the game for 15 years by that point. I earned my stripes mate and its things like this that pretty much allows me to have an opinion and to air it. I think if you actually take time to read the forum you will see me praise kuyt when its deserved and slate him when its deserved.

I just hope you get the chance to be in the ground when the title is won and to be honest there is not many of us on this forum who have had that pleasure. Each opinion is personal and I really dont give a shiny sh'te if my opinion f'cks you off, the beauty of opinions is that people have different ones and I can tell you kuyt would never have got anywhere near our first team in the heady days.

Kuyt is a player with limitations and as the game goes on and he is getting more tired from running round to correct his mistakes then he starts to make even more mistakes. He failed as a forward (unless you think rafa is stupid enough to play a quality striker on the right, and if that the case I wonder when we will torres out there), and to be honest on the right he looks about as comfortable on the ball as a pair of speedos 5 sizes to small,

As for par, kuyt has set his very low, kuyt on par is still below others standards.

Please feel free to have your opinion but also respect the fact that others will disagree

we are no longer in the heady days.

and bcos your 20odd years older than me means your opinion counts more.... we are talking about dirk kuyt here.. forgive me if im wrong but i dont think he was around all them moons ago.

Fair enough if u give him stick and praise him when u feel right... but why be so extremist in the negative side of things.

Give credit where it is due... back the players to the hill

I agree he isnt good enough as a right winger at LFC but thats what weve got at the moment, nothing else, pennant is un proven and kuyt is doing a good enough job to keep him out of the team. Rafa knows what he is doing on the field... i agree he should of bought a right winger, but he didnt. once again back the players we have.

Kuyt doesnt wana be on the right, but hes doing a good job, we are winning, playing well, come on here and slag him off when we lose and it is his fault. Other than that BACK YOUR TEAM AND ITS PLAYERS

That is all we are asking.... kuyts fighting hard for the club and isnt doing to bad of a job at it

It's you who overstates his importance the most. You've criticised Gerrard for the same things some people have been saying about Dirk. A little more consistency on your part might give you more credibility in some peoples eyes.

I deleted the comment that prompted my reply because it was over the line and I'm sure the poster knows as much.

Leon, you seem to goout of your way to have a snipe at peewee.

Mods should attain some kind of neurality on here - you don't.

It's becoming obssessional.

So, how come this applies when you're slatting me for suggesting Pennant... when all I done was agree with (infact say it before) a Spannish league winning and European cup winning manager.

Guess I'm not the only one who doesn't know what he's talking about then...
