I think people need to understand, Liverpool were LUCKY against Man Utd last week. Wes Brown won that game for Liverpool, not Liverpool.

The "Liverpool" goals were extremely lucky. An OG and a mis-kick bobble shot from Babel that just happened to go in.

Liverpool played well, but they weren't going to win that match with their goal-scoring prowess.

The Stoke game today simply showed Liverpool's limitations up again. Yes, Stoke played well and played to their strengths, but Liverpool never looked like they were going to score. Gerrard's dis-allowed goal (unfair IMO) was it. Kuyt's shots were embarassing, three times he shot and it went 3 to 4 yards wide to the left, Benny didn't do much again and Torres and Keane were very quiet again. Also, Rafa taking Riera off, when he was driving down the left hand side was just mind boggling!

No, it's not the end of the world...yet, but that still doesn't take away the serious problems that Liverpool possess.

It's a shame to have to hope for a Utd win tomorrow, but Liverpool need that to balance out a very, very poor result today.

fcking hell you get a fckin warning for saying 'fcking happy clappers' or was it for 'clueless fcks' ? atleast explain it when you give a warning ...
wasnt intended at anyone in particular so cant really understand it when you have people slagging off everyone who isnt happy with the result with very similar language...

this is BS and id love some explanation from whoever it is giving away those warnings !

maybe we should relax a lil. i feel you guys when i got carded for things i did but those who started the issue (babu) or those who does the same (bujennio) get nothing. but we'll survive.

Disagree, tony...... we outplayed 'em and deserved the 3 points IMO.... but for poor finishing we'd have done 'em a couple more goals. This week's performance was poor but I don't feel it's right to belittle the efforts of our boys against the mancs.

We were up for it, didn't cave in (as we were once wont to do) and deserved each and every point we earned. It's not often that you hear Alex Ferguson say that his team was outplayed.... He hates us with a passion... that alone should give you an inkling of the achievement of the lads...

THIS week however, is a whole different kettle of fish.

just got back from the match

hard to know what to say.... struggling against poor teams again. it's are curse.
it's just one of those things, one of those games. we really need to find a way to break teams like these down.

and we can start with kuyt. simply not good enough. don't want to rip him to shreds but it has to br said. i.m sick to back teeth of sein him

i just feel somethings here ought to be reviewed. like some posters get carded for comments...but what if those comments were retaliation? surely the fire starter should get a card too? and besides, some posters would try to infuriate the carded ones just so they get more warnings. and though this is the internet, and its not the real world, the person behind the screen typing IS real and has feelings too.
