EVERTON VS LIVERPOOL - Countdown to the woodison derby

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby bigmick » Tue Aug 29, 2006 6:02 pm

When you see the likes of Lynd's video clip about the Michael Shields chanting, it makes you realise that though I am one of it's harshest critics, there are some parts of the OOTer debate which are absolutely on the money. How can ssomebody not from Liverpool possibly comprehend that type of mindless behaviour by people whose brothers and fathers in many cases support the team they are chanting about?

Bitters is an apt name because though I don't like Chelsea and Manchester United with something approaching a passion, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy what has happend to Michael Shields and nor for that matter the guy who was assaulted in a foreign land. I can totally understand the local people wanting to gain "bragging rights" over these sort of people, but when you see how football can twist and pervert the minds of some people you (or I definately) find yourself wondering if the game can really be that important.

This is the game when the ooters hate it most. we dont get the bragging rights. for me personally its the cheatski or gooner game as thats where all the other fans are with me. but i love the neverton derby none the less and know a couple of bluenoses that i keep in contact with, especially at the time.

Ha your not jokin St I hate them both with a passion, have you found the topic yet LOL  :D

Back to the bitters, I mean I love my bluenose family members I also care about my mates whom are also bitters, but you just cannot talk about football to them without getting into an arguement.

Reffering to what BigMick said all it is mate is that they cannot get to us by skitting about our team or our glorious history, so what they do is use other peoples tradgedies, and the unfortunate case of Michael Shields as a weapon, cause they cannot hurt us with anything else.

You heard on that clip Shanklys and Evertonain I mean come on
They reckon after he left Liverpool he wasnt welcomed back at Anfield, and used to show up at Evertons training ground everyday after, his nioece wrote a book and apparently said this.
I havent read this book nor do I believe it , the man would turn in his grave.

Ive said this before on here not long after Heysel me mum had an house warming party, and my bluenose uncles where there, after a few bevvies all hell broke out over the ban, I remember my uncle screaming at me mum, Merderer.
There was feckin murder in the house I sh.it meself I was only a kid at the time :D
Jesus my mum wont even kill a fly, but cause she was at Heysel he called her a Merderer there was fisty cuffs and it resulted in our families not speaking for about 10 years.

But this bitterness now is 100 times worse and most of these ASBO blues wernt even born when Heysel happened nor Hillsborough for that matter, yet they are taught this anti Liverpool propaganda from the old school and places like Bluekipper, its just a breeding ground for tthe yobs of today to blame us for everything, thats wrong with their club.

And this statement is very very true and I swear every Bluenose I know falls into this catagorie.

THEY HATE LIVERPOOL F.C. MORE THAN THEY LOVE EVERTON

Well, huge game. This game is going to be physical, they always are. Our team selection is based on whether momo, riise and carra are fit in time because these players are key. They have derby experience and are physical players. New signings like Aurelio and Gonzalez may have handled the premiership ok so far but a derby is a whole new level. I think that they will try their best to wind up bellamy.

This game is a must win to keep up pressure on manure and get ahead of chelsea. We may be yet to hit our real form but I think a derby game is the game that will propell us forward. Also of course we all know form counts for nothing in a derby. Gerrard will be rallying the troops ahead of this game, players not in form will suddenly find form. They will be confident but we can also be confident. I will not suggest a team until injuries have become clearer. So my message is:

SO COME ON YOU BLUESHITE BITTER BASTARDS BRING IT ON!!!!!!

They're gonna 'do' us yer know? It's 'their time'. They're 'up fer it'. Goodison's gonna be 'rockin yer kno'. We 'won't know what's hit us larr'. AJs gonna 'give it to us'.

That's all I've heard for the past few days, bit like last time though, they'l be the ones with egg on their face once more.

As for fav derby goal, gotta be JARs at their place a few years back, main reason is because at the precise time, I went so mad that I was gettin bottles of coke chucked on me from all angles in their main stand! I was only singin a few red chants, hardly deserved that now, did i?
:;):

Can't wait;
Der der der der der der der derrr!
