Theres always murders in my house but im always the winner

Must be tough times for a spurs supporter spending so much money yet they are the only team not to register a win yet , good time to play them now as they are low on confidence

It's the one area in which we're still miles behind our rivals imo. I think we've got the makings of a really decent team but I just don't think our fullbacks are good enough to be in a title winning side. Having seen the highlights of a lot of the other games over the weekend, the fullbacks of asenal and chelsea particularly were playing the majority of the game ahead of the wingers. I just don't see the likes of Arbeloa and Dossena having the same quality going forward, when in the modern day, you fullbacks are absolutely vital.

Anyway, to the game, excellent result in what could only be described as a cakewalk. It was as poor an Everton side as I can remember and we just coasted through the game, especially in the second half. Infact the game lacked intensity for a Derby match for me. Usually in midfield you don't get a chance to settle, but Gerrard and Alonso, considering they were playing against three central midfielders, had so much time and space it was unbeilievable.

Mike Riley is a complete joke of a referee though. Apart from the Yakubu dive which he got spot on, nearly every other decision he got wrong, including the red card and disallowing a perfectly good Torres goal. The number of freekicks in general he gave was a joke as he basically turned the game into a non contact game.

Anyway onwards and upwards. Things are looking good but it's another tough one away at City next.
