This game is winnable.. We need the lads to snap at their legs and hound them when they have the ball. So far they have not responded well with such treatment. Rough them up a bit but stay away from reckless tackle as they have an oscar for play acting. We need to do some best acting ourself to make them feel aggrieved. Make them lose focus. We have to keep the ball and move and pass. Suarez, Gerrard , Meireiles, Lucas, Kuyt and Ngog should all be critical in this game.

However it is done, we have to win this match....just for the confidence and lift it would give us. And the statement made by us doing that......

                Reina
Kelly      Carra      Agger    Johnson
      Meireles  Lucas  Aurelio
           Gerrard (Cole/Maxi)
                   Kuyt

Thats the team id like to see. Suarez to be brought on in the 2nd half....

Been thinking about this game all week (especially since that W**k) moved there), so much so that i've almost psyched myself out. Anyone have quick tips to refresh myself....

I don't blame Torres for leaving nor do I wish him any ill will.  He needs to be playing in the champions league and this club can't offer him that either this season or next.

The previous owners are responsible for his departure.  They took the club for a ride and failed to deliver on their promises.  Kenny has come just a bit late for Torres but we have a very bright future ahead.

Good point... well made.....

But he is still a Judas and does not deserve any more of our loyalty.

I hope we mark him out of the game today... I dont wish him ill will, but will not be remembering him as an Anfield hero.

As for the game I think we can win. 2 -1 .

It pains me to say this but I think Chelsea are too strong for Lvp. And Stamford Bridge has never been a good hunting ground for us. I'll be happy with a draw but I hope for a pleasant surprise.

Under Rafa we would have had a slim chance, under Roy we would have had no chance, under Kenny we have every chance to beat Chelsea away.

Well I guess we are expecting too much from these modern day footballers... Del Piero stayed with Juventus when they were relegated but I guess those kind of players are very rare these days and Liverpool is not Torres' boyhood team anyway. I wonder whether Gerrard would stick around if we were relegated. I very much doubt so. Anyway... Torres was my hero and now he's not anymore... but I guess I don't have any ill-wills besides hoping Chelsea won't win any trophies. He has shown that he's a modern day professional footballer and his loyalty doesn't lie anywhere... I am extremely disappointed but life goes on... I'm just glad that Kenny is at the helm when we lost Torres... He has the strength of character and a track record in signing young promising players anf fulfilling their potential (shearer).

P.S. Even though Hicks and Gillett screwed up the club his criticism of the club for selling Xabi and Mascherano were extremely unfair. Rafa attempted to keep Xabi, but his mind was made up, and Mascherano acted like a tit and refused to play against Man City...

It was the old regime that made him these "promises" that he keeps whining about. Newsflash: they are gone, new owners are in, a new manager and the club starting to move in the right direction but little fernando showed them absolutely no faith and couldnt wait to get out of dodge when the opportunity arose, so all his excuses dont hold any water and he will go down as the biggest traitor in Liverpools modern history.

C'Mon Reds, show these plastic b*stards who we are!
