Kennys team talk didn't seem too exciting.

Just give the ball to Zizou!

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

He knows the Premiership, he knows all the other teams, he knows most of our players already and he has had good sucess in the tranfer market. (Althogh apparently some dodgy deals!)

Kenny Dalglish is a personal friend after he brought Jamie to Liverpool and I'm sure Jamie would tell his dad that Liverpool is the greatest club in the world.

I really think a british manager would understand our history and I think Harry would respectour traditions.

Do you really think Levy is going to let Liverpool's hierachy near Redknapp after what happened when Robbie Keane left Spurs for Liverpool?

I don't dispute what you're saying about Redknapp but I can't see it happening and I doubt he'd want to go to Anfield particularly in view of his past comments about foreign owners telling coaches what teams to pick etc.

Here's a shock name though who might be in with a chance - Chris Hughton?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Harry has only got 1 year left on his contract, so if he wanted to come the compensation wouldn't be that high either!

I dont care if the man is mates with god, he endorses that fecking paper , thats the end of it , and the club should not even approch him because of it .end of

I'd go with Roy Hodgeson, experienced, knows this league, plays good football, international experience. His only flaw is the blackburn job when they were champions.

Good joke.

What after such greats as Holloway and Hughton? Suppose if they turn us down we could give Hodgson a call.  :D

I thought Ray Harford was manager after Kenny stepped down when they won the title?

I don't think he'd be a long term appointment. My real worry with someone like Hodgson would be that we'd go downhill like Leeds did when Venables took over from O'Leary in 2002. By the end of 03-04 Leeds had gone through Peter Reid and Eddie Gray (caretaker) and were relegated.

I just have this feeling that if Hodgson is appointed Torres, Gerrard and others will leave and he'll be out of his depth as quickly as Venables was.

I tipped Hodgson at the start of the season

There's your other example you were looking for.

I couldn't be arsd looking through your old posts; but it is a trait of yours.

Your name should be Harry Hindsight.

What the fk you on about now?
I said at the start of the season I liked him as manager so I`m sticking to it now.
Whats your problem with that?
How is that hindsight? Please explain.

Listen, I'm not going to spoil what is an excellent thread with some stupid spat.

You've asked me to explain so I will.

Do you see the bit I've "bolded"? Notice the word "tipped"?
You tipped Hodgson for what? To do what?
You insinuate that you tipped him to be our next manager?

Hindsight - the ability to understand an event or situation only after it has happened.

You constantly make bold statements after the event - I've spotted it for a while and it's boring.
Who are you trying to impress? [Don't answer that by the way].

Moving on...................

You started it mate.
All I`m doing is remaining consistant, if that bothers you so much then like I said skip my posts.
All the sh!te talkers and your starting on me? Are you mixing me up with Lakes?
Fair enough, Ive always wanted a stalker. :D

My tips are

Sven G Eriksson back with Sammy Lee as number 2

or

Roy (Steve ) Hodgson with Sami Hyppia as his number 2

one of these two folks you heard it here first
