Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think we will end up with Hodgson or mon, I`ll go for O`neal.
As a short term appointment I`d probably give it to kenny but I`m not sure a 4 or 5 year deal would suit him.

Harry would show spurs no loyalty at all so I wouldnt be supprised.

I must admit I only really know of Laudrup as the superstar player he was, not familiar with him as a manager. However wikipedia tells me at Brondby they won 76 out of 132 games, not too bad. But at Getafe and Spartak only 12 wins out of 38 and 4 from 14.

Am I missing something?

Pellegrini is the latest gossip from Madrid.

He made Villarreal solid, and he reduced the gap between Real Madrid and Barcelona in one season. He was sácked because lack of titles means a sáck.

I would like him to be honest, but I'd be surprised, because he would be a very Rafaish manager.

Lets hope so I really like him I am currently having nightmares about Hodgeson, it would be on par of hiring fat Sam if he came.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I think the club is on the verge of making yet another mistake. Any potential investor is going to want to put their own manager in charge if/when they buy the club. I cannot see the point of getting Hodgson in. Any investor will see that if they buy the club they've got him has manager for the next 4 years like it or cough up some compo. Don't get me wrong Hodgson could do well but any investor worthy of this club is going to want one of the big boys. I don't see why Dalglish can't take the reigns on a 1 season contract see how it goes until we get new owners. If hes doing well then they could keep him on. Surely this would be more attractive to potential investors. The players respect Dalglish at least will they respect Hodgson?

He's favourite for the next Denmark permanent manager @ 6/4.

Hodgson wont be offered a 4 year contract - most probably 2 year or even 1 year
depending on how bad things really are (financially) at Anfield.

well it seems that Fulham will not stand in Hodgeson way if he wishes to take the Liverpool job.
BBC news are reporting.

Well i just can't believe this whole mess!  We seem to be accepting that we wont get a top class manager even though we just let one go! (and paid him 6M to go!)   our former manager is getting promoted to the Italian and European Champions and im assuming he'll have the funds to try and persuade Masch and maybe Pepe to join him.

i pray we can get Van Gaal or maybe Harry.  Please not MON or WOY!
