Bottom line ,before the match i thought we were set to loss and even trashed but after watching the game i'm left with a bitter disappointment.
Spurs played beneath their recent level we controled the ball and looked pretty comfertable with the set of play but in a day like today we just couldn't afford having our top player playing so weak and clumsy. Torres was just terrible add to it Maxi incredible flop it's just too much for LFC 2010 to bear.
Spurs are the better team and they won as a better team which has a poor game. We weren't clever enough to capitalize today.
Roy tactic were good today shame his star failed him.

hard one to take that.
at half time i would have been disappointed if we did lose the game...especially with the chances missed.
and then the inevitable happened. thought we should have had more confidence in ourselves to push forward more in the second half.....cos they must know by now what happens when u let the other team press!
all in all tho this is probably the best performance we've had away from home in the league....and even tho we lost there were positives. dont mean fu*k all cos we did lose but at least its a step in the right direction. its not good enough. but its better than a month or two ago.

sorry about all that. its just i'm getting a bit tired of people only highlighting the negatives (though i don't deny there are some), and whoppers blaming hodgson for this defeat. standing on a plug would be preferable to reading some of their tripe.

Well, those two sort of deserve it. That's all they did last season too.

The only thing that can be blamed on Hodgson today is him signing Konchesky. Other than that he actually got it pretty much right today and if we can start playing like this against the likes of Blackpool, Wolves and the other "lesser" teams that we should be beating then maybe we'll have more reason to be optimistic about 4th spot.
