Maxi and Torres should have done better

Konchesky has to be dropped, get Aurelio back

If Maxi puts his chance away in the first half, we probably win that match. Then again, it could have went the other way with the chance Carragher blocked.

We at least have played better away from home but am absolutely gutted.
We need to look at improving the left hand side.
Alot of our troubles come down that side and not too much attacking prospect, has been that way for much of the season.
Maxi is playing better but i think we still need to improve there and konchesky is only good to have in reserve.
Why did we ever get rid of J.A.R, it's been a problem position ever since and we have spent a bit of cash on that spot!

Behave lad. That was a good performance and we were just a little unlucky. There's still a long way to go

Hopefully roy now understands we need to play like this away from home. Not just sit back and defend.

I agree! And get rid of Konchesky too!

Roy needs to go. He is not welcome at Liverpool.

No, they never owned us in any of the halfs, we should have scored 8

Yea your prob. right. rash comment on my part in heat of the moment. i forgot that maxi and torres both passed up clear goal chances only not to get a shot off. that was bad. but the back line got cooked like goose against anybody with moderate speed.

I think credit is due to Roy.

The attitude the team had tonight was spot on, he has clearly learned from his mistakes at the start of the season.

Poor finished cost us the game tonight. Defence did good to hold off a strong Tottenham side tonight and we were dead unlucky.

Downright unlucky today, blame has to be levelled at Konchesky, Maxi and Torres.

Konchesky lad, you can't be making yer Christmas list for Santa when you've got one of the fastest wingers in the country to keep tabs on.

Just can't fathom what the frick is goingthrough Nando's and Maxi's head when they're one on one with that dodgy excuse for a keeper that Spurs have got .

No man, Maxi was absolutely daft with his chance, any other player would have scored. Carragher's block was world class

Spurs have more match winners and in the end it showed. We are also too weak at the back. Lots to fix as we know but I think we gave it everything but trouble is what we are capable of will not be enough against the better sides and may only just be enough against the rest on the road. Maxi and Torres should have given us a two goal cushion but even then you wonder if we would have collected all 3 points.

well said, but on any other day this team could have had 5+ today

Not sure about 5+, but could have one the game.
Problem is we didn't, i think thats the quality we are missing!
