ok, back to the game..

it could have been 8-8, it could have been 5-0

we played the way we know we should have, but didnt have the luck. now we got a run where we miss the top teams for a few months so we need to get a good run going and i still think we'll be fine

and anyone who can even think this game was roys fault as well needs to grow a helmet and probably find a new team to support, no doubt whoever is top of the league with the most money

Nope, lets just blame Roy right now for drawing us against united, its his fault!!!

Seriously though, well spank em into next week in Jan, fully confident we can thrash them.

class act but i thought lucas and merieles did a great job on him until the counter attack where he set up the own goal.

There was a couple of occasions Modric just walked freely into our defence, their best player out there today really.

Torres and Maxi combined incredibly.  Keep that up and they will be a real pain to keep track of.  I can't blame them too much because, even though they both missed goals they should have scored, they did really creatively make the opportunities happen.  We missed Stevie.  Koncheskey is a waste of space.  I have been saying that for months, never liked him and I doubt I ever will.  We need a left back, or at least put Aurelio in there.  Koncheskey was completely snoozing on Defoe's goal.  Lucas wasn't bad and Merieles played really well.  Johnson was OK offensively but lacking defensively.

Atkinson bought into the crowd.  That penalty was not a penalty.  His hands wren't in a weird spot like the rule of thumb says, they were covering his face.  if his arms weren't there than it would have hit him in the face.  The ball was outside the box anyway so it shouldn't have been a pen even if the handball is called.  Torres was taken down in the box no question.  We never get pens at white hart.  We got one a couple years ago and should have had 3 more but couldn't get anything.  Merieles shouldn't have gotten a card either.

I'm not too happy about it but wasn't expecting any points.

Well, those two sort of deserve it. That's all they did last season too.

good idea, fair play to ya. get the little one in bed then crack a cold beer, have a jazz cigarette and a sneak peak at youporn... that'll sort it.

Tottenham had a better game, but we should have got atleast a point. They missed alot more chances than we did (though we missed a few 100% chances). Torres, Maxi, Lucas, Meireles and Carragher had a great game, Kuyt should have done better. Even though we played a good game in general, it means nothing as it looks like we're only good enough for mid table.

I thought we were fantastic today, Roy set the team up really well and we should have been 3 up at half time, Maxi, Lucas and Raul were fantastic. We set up 442 away from home against arguably the most attacking team in the prem.

We were unlucky in the end and on another day we would have won it. Well done Roy and well done Liverpool,

Well, you never know and we might just beat them. I think we just need to find a way to slow down berbetov. With Torres we trust!
