Thought we played really well today and had a real go at Spurs. was a fantastic game to watch, end to end and both teams played some great football. Only poor Liverpool player for me was Konchesky, who was rubbish and is a weak link in this side. On another day Torres would have had 2 or 3 goals.

Upset that we lost, but at least we showed spirit, fight and a will to win!

Spurs did well to come back into the game, but if we had taken those two chances at the end of the second half then we would have won!

Onwards and upwards.

Nothing roy did today was wrong, very good game to watch, we should have been 3 nil up before the half time whistle went, poor quality finishing let us down today - END OF

Cant believe people are saying sack roy STILL hes changing for the better, a LOT better, he did NOTHING wrong tactically then.

F.uck off blaming roy for that, what could he have possibly done differently?? He got it all right tactically. Player mistakes cost us.

Maxi, Torres + Kuyt all had golden chances to either score or set up goals. Skrtel was clumsy for the own goal, Konchesky fell asleep.

Come on tell me what roy should have done differently??

Well he did suck that last season, but that was probably at least partly because of his financial (++) problems.

Even Insua is better than konchesky and is a player that will improve.

Totally agree, but how long can Aurelio stay fit for.

I don't blame Roy either, he really set it up pretty well, we had most of their key players in our back pocket, but they had more players who are proven match winners.

We need quality, and we need them fast

You can't put this one on Roy. If Maxi and Torres had taken their chances we'd have picked up the three points.

the one thing to look at after today is that we sorely lack pace along the back line. We need a quick CB and proper LB come Jan window.

I don't know about Insua mate, he wouldn't have done better either today, both players are horrible and we have to address our left back situation properly in Jan or in the summer.

and you pair of moronic fukking ar'seholes can fukk off as well. what more do you want the manager to do? we go away from home, play 442 without gerrard and do enough to deserve to win the game. if our finishing had been slightly better we would have too. there aren't half some prize pr!cks on this place.

, but anyone in a foot race with Lennon would really struggle, specially off the blocks, his acceleration is crazy, I really cant fault anyone but the 2 one on one chances torres had and the one Maxi had.

On a side note Miereles is pure class

No man, Maxi was absolutely daft with his chance, any other player would have scored. Carragher's block was world class

Yeah, but I'm not going to blame him for it. Bad chance to miss, but he's human and makes mistakes. Probably wasn't confident at taking the shot across the keeper first time with the ball under his feet and tried to shift it to get under the ball. Our attackers have been suffering from a lack of confidence all season. But there were glimpses of Maxi and Torres of Atletico during that game that looked promising.
