Much better performance. Hopefully we kick on and grab a second goal early doors.

We are moving the ball alot quicker as the games progressed.. I feel like we're growing in confidence.

Hopefully we defend well 2nd half as Spurs will get desperate.

Agreed, Spurs do look like scoring every time they cross the halfway line but because we are having so much of the ball thankfully that’s not all that often. They’ll probably push up a bit now to try and get back in the game so we might be able to get in behind them a bit more ourselves.

Definitely better. Awful miss in the first few minutes and very much a case of thank god for VAR when son scored what looked like a brilliant goal. Hendo and Matip playing well. Thiago is some visionary.

Well done Trent.

I knew after united that we were getting back on track. if we get 6 points vs WH and brighton we're well and truly back in the mix....then the city game will take on extra significance. let's just hope for a loan at CB to sure things up a bit cos we sure as hell can't rely on Matip staying fit, the guy's a china doll.

Gareth Bale is a shadow of the player he once was. What a waste of a huge wage. Spurs fans got all giddy about him...but he's washed up.

FT 3-1 Good night, good away performance. Good thing we avoid the dangerous fixtures of playing the bottom 6 for now

Great game and finally a f*cking win. We did pretty well but I was also surprised that Spurs and Mourinho didn't play the "park the bus and hope for the counter" game that everyone's been playing against us and doing well. They tried to take the game to us and that was a huge mistake by them.

In any event, our two following opponents will most likely sit back deep, but hopefully this victory today will give us a much needed confidence boost because both games are a must win.

Damjan  I’m not sure they tried to take the game to us. Spurs had 3 attempts and 2 of them were on target. Second half apart from a speculative goal they were awful especially in defence. Maureen really doe know how to play sh1t football !! On the other hand it was fantastic to see us play with real intent. Mo’s goal was the best of the lot and I thought the hand ball decision by VAR and the ref was laughable.

That was a much better performance and we fully deserved the win.  :buttrock Hopefully its the start of a revival  :nod .

They played like I thought they would anyway and Mourinho's only grace is the fact that there is no fans present watching that. They have a good side but he's stifling them with those kind of tactics. Hopefully they work when they have to play the Manc sides though :nod

Don't know what happened Matip for the second half. Thought he was playing excellent 1st half, Really putting in a MOTM winning performance and then just didn't come back out.  He won't have time to recover so only a matter of time before he picks up one that will put him out for the rest of the season.  Milner put in a hell of a shift so gets my MOTM, was surprised to see him start as well. 2 of the front 3 score so happy days, Salah was unlucky as his goal should have stood but once you see that many replays on screen before he even goes to the Monitor you know he's been told to reverse his decision. Thought Son's was harsh as well if I'm honest.

So great win and some encouraging signs but we still need to improve and follow it up with another 3 points off West ham.
