Not good Zara to be honest. Watching that, and seeing the quality of the players we have on the bench it is very worrying. It looks increasingly like we have followed one average manager with another one, and even a good manager is going to have a job on sorting through some of this sh!t.

How exactly do you rate things in your wee world there. You must have some kind of f*cked up judgement spectrum to place a manager in the same bracket as "average" that's won major European honours to the likes of Hodgson who has literally won sweet f*ck all bar an LMA managers award.

Oh right! so now you've changed your tune again...

No I haven't. Why do I bother talking football with you numpties .

How have I changed my tune, I think the team is good enough to challenge for the top four. Teams which are good enough to challenge for the top four put in spinelss and sh!t performances from time to time. Check out Spurs getting hammered at Bolton last week, check out Villa getting done by six at newcastle. The reason this happens and they don't always put in a good shift, is because like us they have too many players who don't want it enough and aren't top quality.

Now stop being a t!t and enjoy yourself.

It seems some people not only know little about football, they can't read either. For the third time, here is the unequivical answer to the "backtracking" accusations.

Grass isnt always greener on the other side lads. As boring as rafas brand of football was we almost always at the very least controlled matches. This year has made me appreciate him more. He pulled off some magic with this team apparently.  We desperately need to rebuild.

Get off your high horse. Stop talking bollox, and admit your hypocricy. I've noticed your pompous, piousness for some time, and it's one of the reasons why I don't post much or just tend to ignore what you write. The difference between myself and you is that I tend to make my mind up about something early on and don't deviate or change it. I stick by my convictions, whereas you have done nothing but contradict yourself and made yourself look like one of the biggest bullsh*tters this forum has seen  with each post. You must walk around with a spade on your chest 24/7 to dig that sh*te you spew out of your keyboard.

I don't know why everybody says Hodgson must go.... Everybody is still meshing together a bit.  He has been stubborn on some of his player selection like Rafa was, but luck was not on our side.  First goal was just bad by everybody.  That's not Hodgson's tactics, that's just bad play, mostly by Koncheskey.  If you compare the first string of games together that Hodgson has managed compared to both Houlier and Rafa, they are very very similar.

The game- Lucas was too quiet, Soto too slow, Skrtel needs to watch it before he gives away a pen. Koncheskey is fast but not good enough for Liverpool, made too many defensive mistakes.  The passing by everybody was good at times but shocking at others. The ref completely bought into both Pulis' rant on how bad the refs have been to them recently as well as how often Stoke threw themselves on the ground.  Fuller should have gotten 3 yellow cards- one for tripping Reina, one for his completely purposeful tackle on Gerrard from behind and the one he actually got.

Gerrard got too sloppy at times and torres wasn't creating anything productive.  Ngog had some good points but really just kept falling down, though should have got 1 or 2 more calls.  Shocked Carra didn't get that call down the right side, that was a horrible decision.  Luck just wasn't on our side today.  We aren't getting away results, so I guess look forward to the West Ham game.

That's strange, it wasn't so long ago that you said we had a squad capable of finishing in the top 4 and even a title push. Now you are resigned to the fact that they are not good enough?

Do you think it's at all possible the manager is to blame?

Exactly. Last season the manager was sacked for not getting us into the top four because thats where this team was supposed to be at. So which is it now?

You know what Emerald, I hope all those snakes who wanted Rafa out are happy now. Nice one! They can all take the blame with Roy for this.

You know what I don't even hate Roy for it, I knew from the get go he wasn't good enough, he has never been good enough and he never will. This is embarrassing for the club and the players. Not to mention the fans.

He needs to resign asap.

I just can't see how they can defend him, Bav, then keep backtracking on the sh*t they were going on about last season about how we failed because of Rafa's bad managment. It wasn't the players. Sure the team had the likes of Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano et al. Yes, we lost Mascherano in the summer, but look who we (sorry, he) replaced him with and then lent out a quality midfielder in his place. Our first 11, as it stands, is more than capable of at least controlling a football match against the likes of Wigan and Stoke, but instead we look as if we're sh*tting bricks against Barcelona.

Lakes made a good point about Roy using the same formation and system as Rafa last year, only he used the word tactics instead. Yes, Roy has used the same formation, with largely the same players, but somehow we are playing drastically worse. We can't keep the ball. We can't attack. So what does that come down to? Instructions from the manager. The players must take some flak for the performances, but it's a massive symptom of the tactics this manager is employing.

And on top of that he doesn't even play to the strengths of the squad he has, instead he tries to make them play in a style that they are NOT suited to and despite all the bad results he still persists.

Yes we are using the same formation but we played decent possession football under Rafa. Ok the last season was a mess but it was a bad season. Trying to compare tactics from Rafa and Roy is like..... well forget an anaolgy. 1 is a "master of European football" and the other is average at best.

btw those words were from the King.

any manager would have found it hard with this team right now, if Kenny comes in he would need huge amounts of cash to build a team.

this team dont cut it in this club

One has to be mentally challenged to look at this LFC team with about 13 internationals and yet reach the conclusion u just did!

no mate again your very short in your vision, i am talking about all the players under the lfc banner, all the young kids aswell, i have never seen this club with sucj a weak bench as it has this year and the end of last year

If am short in my vision then u are as blind as a bat! The 1st team squad contains about 13 internationals; it may not be good enough to challenge for the title, but it is far better than the stale soup we are being served!

Lakes was one of Rafas biggest critics from day one, its hardly suprising he's defending our english manager and his 35 years of winning fuck all now is it?  :D

pls dontget me wrong Gig, i am not defending him, i am just saying that theres more than one bad egg at our club than just the the manager, in my view he was only put in place to stop the us sinking any more and he dont look like he can do it.

but i do feel that its not just his fault, the whole club is filled with under par players andi am not just talking about the first team.

i do feel any manager would have had a hard job geting results with this team....yes many would have got better results than Roy.
