Klopp confirmed in post match interview that it was tactical, being on a yellow card and the presence of that stadium

Kolo would have done a far better job

Martin Škrtel game by numbers:

1 penalty given away
0 tackles won
0 blocks

Awful

I'm not defending Skrtel but by the sounds of it he wasn't the only one who cost us today, by all accounts if Benteke puts his chance away its game over and werent Flanagan and Mingolet at fault for 2 of the goals?
What we need to remember is that this isn't Klopp's squad and this group of players have shown over the last 2 years that capitulation's like this are part of their make up.

They are not my stats mate and i dont totally blame Skrtel, the midfield offered little protection in the second half

It is just very hard to swallow, when you are 2 up, Allen has goal disallowed, Sturridge misses a one on one (all in first half) and then Benteke wastes another after the break

I suppose being 2-0 up and given our recent form (beating the likes of City, United, Palace etc) Jurgen must have thought that they'd see it through.

I agree with him. Sadly it should have been Toure coming on and not Skittles the clown.

Silly decision. He's a professional and big boy and can deal with it. Doing a good job with us 2-0 up ridiculous decision if that is the case

If Klopp is one of the top managers in Europe...its about time he started making match WINNING  decisions instead of the other...

Its okay saying this isnt klopps team, but winning that game shouldnt have been difficult

Didnt see game but given Klopp took out Lovren for Skrtel who was so horrible 3 went in then old Kloppos got a sleepless night ahead.

Nobody is above criticism and bit too smart with the sub and it backfired.

Same excuse Rafa used when he subbed off Gerrard against the bitters, but Rafa got lucky.

It was a reasonable decision to sub Lovern...And while Skertel was a complete disaster I still can't explain  what happened to the rest of the team which just vanished into the sun set.
