Very convincing. A lot of hype about Arsenal prior to the game. Our front three were exceptional. Fabinho is just so important to the midfield and protecting our defence. Excellent results from United and West Ham

Important result, especially after the sh1t show at West Ham.

Hopefully manure pull the trigger on Solskjaer and they have some new manager bounce for the Chelsea game next weekend

Terrific performance, exactly what we needed after the WH game.

Keep Fabinho and Thiago fit for most of the season and we're going to challenge. They are the key in midfield.

Yeah I agree, the 2 of them compliment each other's games really well, reminds me a bit of when we had Alonso and Macherano in the middle of the park in the sense that one's a terrific passer and the other is great at breaking things up and winning the ball back.
I thought the third CM AOC had a solid game as well, he put in a proper shift and made some vital blocks and tackles, as Carragher said on commentary that one where he blocked the header inside our 6 yard box was a great bit of tracking back which probably saved a goal. Tracking back like that shows he is working hard off the ball, it's not always noticeable but in that instance it was.

Cracking result and agree with everyone's comments. Jota, Fab on top form, back 4 looking stronger, Ox had a good game, Thiago still iffy in my opinion. And Ali had a couple of crucial saves. Hendo had an immediate impact when he came on.... what a player.

We needed that after the debacle against westham. Must stay close to Chelsea, City now. Chelsea are looking strong and imo will be the team to beat for the title.

We hit a little run now where we have a lot of tricky looking fixtures on paper (Everton (A), Wolves (A), Spurs (A), Leicester (A) etc) but crucially we don't play another title contender until we visit Stamford Bridge on the 2nd of January. Famous last words these I know especially given how our form collapsed last year but IMO a lot of those teams aren't quite the teams they were a year or two ago and I believe there's an opportunity there for us to rack up quite a few points - if we play well that is.

Southampton (H)
Everton (A) - midweek game
Wolves (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Newcastle (H) - midweek game
Spurs (A)
Leeds (H)
Leicester (A) - midweek game
CHELSEA (A)

There's 24 points on offer between now and when we play Chelsea, given they've essentially got a 4 point start on us I think if we genuinely want to challenge for the title then we are going to need 20+ of those points if not all of them.

Great win against an Arsenal side who were full of themselves including their cocky manager, Mane & co has answered them very well. I thought the first selected midfield trio were excellent so are their replacement in the second half.

Good Luck Lads
