Downing's missed chance really hurt us. We go up 1-0 and this game is crazy different. Poor defending on the second and heads dropped. Overall I think we've moved the ball way better, they just pass it up to Dzeko or Aguero every time and look for us to :censored:

up.

Not a fan of his obviously, but i agree. We could have Batistuta upfront and he wouldnt get a kick. The players we have lined up in midfield are so ordinary its scary. Wont be watching the second half so hoping for a Gerrard one man show. We seriously lack quality when Gerrard, Maxi, Bellamy and Suarez aint playing.

Yeah, didn't take our chance and made a mistake. These things happen in football but I still feel good about our showing.

Can't say a bad word for anyone except for maybe Kuyt and Reina, but we're 2 goals down, we need to make some changes.

Downing has to come off, really disappointed with his effort.Bring Bellamy off for him and Gerrard needs to come on for Kuyt.

It's dissapointing for as good as our build up can be the final 3rd is toothless, and you have to feel for Carroll he is getting zero service and he looks hungry for the first time in a long time!
