Yeah mate our chances of us getting Kaka are pretty slim when Real Madrid are rumoured to be offering Milan 70 mil for him.

70 million!

Well maybe if we sent a collection box round Anfield and offered Rafa's kidney, they might just budge. lmao

Never heard of that Alfonso Alves for Heerenveen ?

Nationality : Brasilia
Position : forward

Name:  Afonso Alves Martins
Date of birth: 30/1/1981
Place of birth : Belo Horizonte

Came from Danish club to Heerenveen FC
Perfect striker, third Brasilian after Romario and Ronaldo to reach the 30 goals mark in Dutch competition (for what it is worth)

Might be very good option for LFC while he is still "cheap"

One time, I saw a man looking at me, yes, with his eyes. And then, he, he picked up a tube. And he looked, in the tube, and he made the moon big, inside the tube. The moon big inside a tube! Waahaha... Aaah. Telescope.

After hearing some of the stories about Parry's slow reactions on these matters he's probably still working on the last time we tried to sign Simao.  :D

Surely doesn't last night show that we need a new left back in the summer if we want the ginger number 6 to play in left midfield.

I have seen a lot of comments about Alves but i don't think this will be such a good signing.
He's a right back (not RW as many seem to think) and we already have finnan, who many of you have stated was missed dearly last night. I would not want to see finnan rotting on the bench or moving on

If we want to play riise on the left of midfield we need a decent left back even if it's just till Fabio gets back

what we need is a player with tricks and flicks with serious speed.

gonzales was build as having blinding speed, i can't quite see this myself.

strangely bellamy had mad speed before he came to us, suddenly i see everybody keeping up with him .
pongole had mad speed when he 1st came to us, suddenly it went.

only cisse maintained is speed.
