I tuned in just after half time last week v leverkusen and thought traore was playing in midfield,turned out to be Sissoko,it was'nt just the resemblance he seemed to play the same way as well,gangly, losing control and misplacing passes.He must be very rusty:(

How is it that a player who has had half a good season in his entire life is bought for 7M from a relegated club, and Andy Jhonson who had a great full season and finished among top scorers didnt even get a look? Strange if you ask me !

Crouch only played 32 games and scored 16 goals. Andy Johnson played more than that and scored 20 goals. Had he played more games he would had scored the same amount as AJ if not more.

AJ scored a whole lot from the pk spot, overall I don't think he offers what crouch could potentially offer.  Crouch seems to have better control holds the ball up better and can be a good threat for crosses from the wings. 

As for our signings I'm not going to judge them until they've played some games in the prem season but I'll support them no matter what cause they are wearing our shirt.
