Didn't manage to watch the whole match so can't really rate. But from what I watched Sakho played well. BR should ditch his nonsense idea of playing lovren and reinstate Sakho as starting CB. Pleasantly surprised with Chirivella. Looks like a good passer of the ball. BR should give more playing time to him.

Mingolet - 5 his distribution is woeful and that mistake was overdue.
Clyne - 5 defended well but never noticed him getting forward much.
skrtel - 6 one or 2 good interceptions.
sakho - 6 give you the hebes but good game. bye bye dejan bye bye.
Moreno - 7 motm for me and why he hasn't been a starter up till now i'll never know.
Lucas - 6 Should have been milner subbed.
Milner - 4 awful game.
can - 5 looked lost a bit today.
Coutinho - 6 just one of those games where his lack of end product showed.
Sturridge - 5 looked way off the pace. Awful decision to start him and would have made a better impact in the last 20. Not ready IMO.
Benteke - 5 never in it.

ings - 6 full of heart and took his goal well but has his head down to much.
Lallana - 5 tried but he's not good enough although he is bound to tell you otherwise.
Firmino - 5 plenty of skill but needs to tackle. Not sure if he is even a front man.

Mignolet - 6 - woeful distribution and conceded because of him. However, I wouldn't call it a howler as those things happen when you constantly come out like that and we need to accept that
Clyne - 6 - shy going forward
Can - 6.5 - think he did well to take the ball out of defense
Skrtel - 6
Sakho - 7.5 - won almost every duel he had and passed it well
Moreno - 8 - amazing going forward, especially in the first half. Good assist too
Lucas - 6.5 - really intelligent defensive play and created a few counter attacks with his smart tackling (including the one for the goal). Mostly useless in our build up play unfortunately
Milner - 4 - won't comment on this guy anymore
Coutinho - 5 - nothing happened for him today and pretty much costed us the game with that one on one miss
Sturridge - 6 - obviously not match fit
Benteke - 6

Ings - 7.5 - good goal and loved the fight in him

Frimino - 7 - think he did well myself. Got himself in good positions and was smart with his passing. Obviously a good player in there

Can -  5 - would like to see the potential turn the corner into something real
Skrtel - 5 - did nothing wrong today
Sakho - 7 - had a very solid game, combined well with Moreno
Moreno - 8 - thought he was excellent, attacked really well and offered good cover at the back also
Lucas - 4 - bye
Milner - 3 - very, very poor
Coutinho - 6 - tried and tried, got greedy at one point and perhaps cost us a goal
Sturridge - 5 - looked well off the pace, scared to get involved with anything physical
Benteke - 5 - did ok

Ings - 8  - my man of match by a mile and he only played 45 mins, chased everything, took his goal well, he will become a hero once he gets played up front more often
Lallana - 5 - did ok
Frimino - 5 - did ok

Liverpool V Aston Villa - EPL 26/09/2015

Mignolet - 6 - not sure if he was at fault for the 2 goals, but his kicking was shocking again
Clyne - 6 - decent enough
Skrtel - 4 - poor defending, needs replacing, perhaps try Gomez central
Sakho - 4 - was ok, but at fault for at least one of their goals and had a couple of sloppy moments on top
Moreno - 6 - not his best game but we look much better with him in the team
Can - -6 - decent enough
Lucas - 6 - did ok, some misplaced passes, not really good enough for us imo
Milner - 7 - took goal well, could have had another but for a good save, possibly his best game for us
Coutinho - 6 - ticked away, always busy, unlucky that his excellent free kick was saved
Ings - 6 - perpetual motion, nothing to show for his hard work
Sturridge - 8 - didn't realise he was even on the pitch until he scored 2 outstanding goals, 2 moments of brilliance get him an 8, was very very close to a hatrick also

Can - 4 - villa's first goal was on him. Didn't make an effort at all when he lost his guy.
Lucas - 8 haven't seen so many successful tackles by him. Probably should share MOTM with sturridge
Milner - 7 - good goal. Played decent
Coutinho - 7 - appears he's back to creating goals again which I prefer him to
Ings - 6 - need to work on end product
Sturridge - 8 - 2 very good goals and match winning performance earns him my MOTM.
