Hendo - 6 worked hard
Ibe - 5 not at his best atm, quality player though
Coutinho - 7 our liveliest player on the night

Mignolet - 8 - did well whatever he had to do.
Clyne - 9 - cannot be more impressed.
Skrtel - 7 - looked iffy at times. But didn't really do anything wrong.
Lovren - 5 - Got away with a clear goal. Got beat like a school boy right before that too. Made a very messy clearance in the second half that almost led to an opportunity for them again. But besides these errors, looked OK. Seriously though, please start Sakho, Brendan.
Gomez - 8 Worked well defensively.
Milner - 6 - Did nothing special all game. But worked hard.
Hendo - 7 - Looked good while he was on. Hope he recovers from whatever injury he's succumbed to.
Lallana - 5 - Is soo good when he runs and turns with the ball. But when will he start to contribute in a more effective manner? When will he command games better? No idea.
Coutinho - 6 - Tried, but had a poor game by his standards.
Ibe - 4 - Had 2 chaps on him all the time. And couldn't do much against them.
Benteke - 10 - Did everything right. Showed fight. Chased lost causes. Good touches. Good goal. I'm impressed.

Subs
Moreno - 9 - Both defensively and aggressively played his part well. Great solo run at the end.
Can - 7 - Clearly has a lot of game intelligence when it comes to passing in the attacking third. But he needs to be better at stopping the opposition by winning balls if he is going to play as a DM. Otherwise, he clearly has a great future.
Firmino - 6 - Didn't really get a look in.

Mignolet - 6.5 - not lots to do but did well when called upon. Second clean sheet in a row
Clyne - 7 - good game, performed well both forward and in defense
Skrtel - 7 - played well I thought
Lovren - 6 - not a starter. Got away with an error today, won't be so lucky next time
Gomez - 6.5 - might be a good player in the future but at the moment his inexperience shows. Should go with Moreno against Arsenal
Milner - 5 - can't believe some of the praise he gets on social media. Covered the most distance but was barely, part of something productive. Not a midfielder
Hendo - 7 - I thought he did well today. Had some good passing and made an assist
Lallana - 6 - better than last time but needs to improve
Coutinho - 6.5 - poor game for his standards but was still pretty lively and a handful for the oppo
Ibe - 5.5 - not been happy with his performances so far. Will improve though I'm sure
Benteke - 7.5 - good holdup play, some nice touches, always a handful for the oppo and scored the winning goal - MOTM. Looks like the real deal so far

Subs
Can - 7 - did far more in 30 minutes than Milner has in 2 games. Should be a starter along with Henderson
Frimino - 6
Moreno - 6.5 - looks like he has a point to prove. Not my favorite player but should start against Arsenal

MIngolet - 6 Not much for him to do
Clyne - 7 -Solid game. Looked good down the right
Skrtel - 7 - Saved us a couple times and another clean sheet
Lovren - 6 -not as good as last week, but still ok. I guess he kinda bought the foul on their disallowed goal for us.
Gomez - 5- Don't understand all the hype. He's confident with the ball at his feet, but you can tell his team mates don't trust him. They seemed to go out of the way to avoid passing to him. He struggled on defense again too. I'm not saying he doesn't have a future, but he terrifies me every time they attack his side.
Milner - 6 decent game
Hendo - 6 decent game
Ibe - 5 He's been way too one dimensional so far this season. Lost the ball a lot when he tried to go past anybody.
Coutinho - 6 -I thought he was doing alright, but struggling when it counted.
Lallana - 7 -had periods where he wasn't too involved, but I thought he worked really hard and almost acted as the DM. Won a lot of tackles and was always there defensively. He didn't lose the ball much on offense either- I felt he was much better today than last week.
Benteke - 9 -well taken goal, probably should've had an assist. Was everywhere working really hard and showed that he's not as one dimensional as people seem to claim. Very impressed by him today, and my MOTM.

Can - 7 - Slow to start but had a good few tackles and some strong runs.
Frimino - 6 -looked a bit uncomfortable and unsettled
Moreno - 9- I don't know how he could've done any better with the little time he had. Did better in 10 minutes than Gomez has in 2 games- NEEDS to replace Gomez against Arsenal.

Mignolet - 7- busier of the 2 keepers on the night. stood up well.
Clyne - 7 - Glen who ?
Skrtel - 7 - dependable.
Lovren - 7 - good game but still gives me the jitters. far too last ditch for my liking.
Gomez - 6 Nearly all the pressure on us came down his side. Needs to get closer and apply more pressure but overall good game.
Milner - 6 Worked away in the back ground but not much impact on the ball.
Hendo - 5 A bit of time off will do the lad a world of good if he spends it watching dvd's of how Gerrard actually earned that band.
Lallana - 4.5 Nowhere near the player he thinks he is.
Coutinho - 7.5 - MOTM because it all goes through him.
Ibe - 4.5 Loads of possession and did nothing with it time after time. I like the lad but no way should he be starting.
Benteke - 7 Nice goal on your home debut and should have had another but overall good movement.

Subs
Moreno - 6 I'd play him there against arsenal over the llama or ibe.
Can - 6 Strong lad.
Firmino - 5 He was anonymous for the most of it. 20 minutes + the 4 was more than enough time to be involved in more than 2 passages of play.

4 is a bit harsh on Milner.
I don't think he played that bad.

I think Milner is doing the unseen work, he gives us more bite in midfield and I think along with Clyne makes us better defensively at the expense of going forward. It will be clearer when we play better teams with better midfielders how good he is and whether it will work out but so far he seems solid. Certainly don't think he deserves a 4 against Bournemouth

Mignolet 7   Did flap at a cross
Clyne 7       Better defensively than going forward
Skrtel 7      A couple of errors
Lovren 6     Same and lucky with the disallowed goal.
Gomez 7     Also a couple of errors not punished but he seems a good prospect
Milner 6      Kept it tight at the back
Hendo 6      Slightly better than Milner
Lallana 6     Feeling he is too light weight
Ibe 6           He seemed to get double teamed when he got the ball
Coutinho 8  Thought he ran the show offensively, unlucky not to score
Benteke 8   Happy he scored, was impressed with his touch and vision

Can 7
Firminio 6
Moreno 7

Mignolet 6   Did ok, but ot much to do.
Clyne 7       Good, just not comfortable on the offensive half
Skrtel 7      Good enough, not tested too much
Lovren 6     Did ok, not tested too much
Gomez 6     A bit erratic at times. He is young though.
Milner 6      Did ok, even though his technique failed him at times
Hendo 6      Typical "Henrderson" performance
Lallana 6     Got great skill, just a bit weak on the ball.
Ibe 6           Didn't get anywhere
Coutinho 7  Wanted a lot, a bit overeager missing the final ball or shot most of the time
Benteke 8   Scored. Also wanted to be involved in play and has enough skill, like Crouch had.

Can 7
Firminio 6
Moreno 6

Mignolet 7 Coped well with the indecision in front of him
Clyne 8 A cut above ,could be the genuine article.
Skrtel  6 No real understanding with Lovren
Lovren 6 As above ,certainly not the best aerially ,but looks comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Gomez 5 A degree of ungainliness but we can put that down to nerves ,but not as nervous as I was watching him.
Milner 5 I don't get it ,at City Milner when he started was at the heart of everything ,he looked intelligent and full of running up there with Silva and co ,but we make him look ineffective and meh !
Henderson 6 ,battled hard ,but he needs to force the play more.
Lallana 5 Thus far his displays certainly don't warrant a starting birth.
Coutinho 6 Tried hard enough and his link up play with Benteke was promising ,but he seemed in two minds and indecisive.
Ibe 5 Weak performance ,his play became  predictable to the Bournemouth back line.
Benteke 8 Star man with Clyne ,some exquisite touches for a big man ,and looks an all round talent.

MIngolet - 6
Clyne - 7 I have been impressed so far with Nathan
Skrtel - 6 ok....
Lovren - 6 did okay, .... but still has the capacity to give me the heebie Jeebies at times.
Gomez - 7  did well... for one so young, he has shown indications of being very good at his job... hopefully his head doesn't swell overmuch
Milner - 8 worked hard. I disagree with some of the ratings that he gets. I think a lot of his work goes unnoticed in the role he is playing now... No the most flash or creative but I like what I see
Hendo - 6 worked hard
Ibe - 5 i think he has a future but he is not ready yet.... we would be better off with Markovic until he matures a little more. Ibe has the potential the go down the Sterling behavioural path if he is not careful.
Coutinho - 7 by his high standards, he had a quiet night but still good.
Lallana - 6 didn't do much offensively but did put a shift in defensively
Benteke - 8 my MOM... good buy to date.... but if we mix it up a little more in our tactics and get the ball in the box from crosses from time to time it would do both us and him a world of good.

Rodgers: 6... Against Bournemouth, we really should do better than what we did.

MINGOLET - 8 played really well second half, save from Giroud was outstanding
CLYNE - 7 caught square for their 'goal' but apart from that was terrific
SKRTEL - 8 both CB's played really well
LOVREN - 8 to be fair he's in the team on merit, another top performance
GOMEZ - 6 bit shaky at times but did well considering the opposition, for a tallish lad he's phenomenally quick.
LUCAS - 7 can't believe Brendan wants to sell him, showed a composure we have been lacking
MILNER - 7 did well
CAN - 8 showed terrific energy levels when others were flagging, pick of the MF's for me
FIRMINO - 7 like Lucas played really well until lack of game time caught up with him
COUTINHO - 8 first half he was majestic, best player at the club
BENTEKE - 7 missed a sitter but his all round game was terrific, gave the Arsenal defence all they could handle
