Everton v LIVERPOOL

MINGOLET - 8 played really well and made at least one outstanding save
CLYNE - 6 needs to be a bit braver on the ball and a bit more progressive but did okay
CAN - 8 MoM for me, thought he had one of his best games in a red shirt, unlucky with their goal
SKRTEL - 7 played well
SAKHO - 7.5 his passing out from the back is superb, he should have the armband imo
MORENO - 7 got forward and played well
MILNER - 6.5 one of his better performances I thought
LUCAS - 6.5 lucky to stay on but did well
COUTINHO - 4 best player at the club but he wasn't today
INGS - 7 put in a right shift and scored a good goal
STURRIDGE - 6.5 one or two flashes of brilliance but still not 100%

MINGOLET - 8 Kept us in the game with two outstanding saves
CLYNE - 6 Did well
CAN - 6 Would have been an 8 but can't forgive his brain fart that imo cost us the goal
SKRTEL - 7 Solid
SAKHO - 7 still looking like Bambi on Ice but would have him over Lovren every day of the week
MORENO - 6 would have been a 7 but along with Can he was responsible for the goal against us
MILNER - 5 average
LUCAS - 7 mature performance
COUTINHO - 4 at times I wondered if he was actually on the pitch
INGS - 7 great determination/appetite
STURRIDGE - 6 still building back to his best, did well

Subs
Lallana - 5
Allen - N/A only on for ten minutes.

MINGOLET - 8 Two world class stops.
CLYNE - 6 Still looks uncomfortable at WB ,but a better performance than against Sion.
CAN - 6  Solid performance ,but he gifted the Bitterz a goal by hitting a pass across his own goal line ,this  can only be described as a moment of stupidity.
SKRTEL - 7 Defended well.
SAKHO - 8 Pick of our defenders ,he may look ungainly moving forward ,but he rarely wastes a pass.
MORENO - 7 Unsettled the Bitterz with his pace and crossing.
MILNER - 5 File under the decidedly ordinary.
LUCAS - 9 Man of the match ,broke up any semblance of cohesion betwixt McCarthy and Barry and read the play perfectly .
COUTINHO - 4 Lets face facts here young Coutz was less than impressive
INGS - 7 Loved his infectious Kuyt like celebration ,there was no hiding his elation at scoring the opening goal in the Derby.
STURRIDGE- 5 Struggled to get into the game ,and we failed spectacularly in  playing to his obvious strengths.

MINGOLET - 8.5 Kept us in the game with two outstanding saves, and was not at fault for the goal at all.
CLYNE - 6 Did well but isnt a wing back. Looks good going forward, gets lost tracking back
CAN - 6 shocking clearance, but thats what happens when you put a mid in defense
SKRTEL - 6.5 standard game
SAKHO - 8 guy is a beast, top 5 cb in the prem
MORENO - 6 like clyne, looks good going forward but not coming back. if we get klopp he will be on notice
MILNER - 5.5
LUCAS - 7 really liking his energy and enthusiasm
COUTINHO - 5 quiet game, looked to be carrying an injury
INGS - 8.5 my man of the match with migs, his desire and enthusiasm is epic. i love the bloke.
STURRIDGE - 6 still looks rusty, hopefully benteke is back soon to give him a rest

Lallana - 5
Allen - N/A

Mignolet - 8
Can - 6.5 - bad mistake but overall a decent game
Skrtel - 7.5
Sakho - 7.5 - both defenders played well
Clyne - 6
Lucas - 7 - had some mistakes but hardly allowed Everton's midfield any space, had at least 6 or 7 tackles, important ones too.
Milner - 6 - started well but was his usual self for the rest of the game
Moreno - 5 - I just didn't see what everyone else saw. Enthusiastic, sure, but was bad at defending (should really learn how to block crosses), and wasted a lot of balls going forward
Coutinho - 4 - his lack of consistency worries me at times
Ings - 7
Sturridge - 6

Lallana - 5

Unusual to see Phil as our worst player but he didn't get into the game at all.
Great work as ever mate  :bowdown

Cheers yakka.

Yep, a bit strange not to see Coutinho as MOTM, never mind seeing him as a flop, but unforunatelly he deserved it with that performance.

SPURS V LIVERPOOL

MINGOLET - 8 played really well, still not totally convincing with the ball at his feet but in terms of pure shot stopping he's up there with the best in the division.
CLYNE - 5 did okay, still think his distribution isn't the best though
SKRTEL - 6 couple of rocky moments but solid enough
SAKHO - 8.2 my MoM, one dodgy pass aside he was magnificent, despite his awkward gait he is probably a better passer than any of our current CM's.
MORENO - 5 a bit like Clyne did okay, he wants to stop going to ground though, one of these days the ref won't blow and the CF will be away
LUCAS - 5 worked hard but a bit sloppy in possession I thought
MILNER - 5 try's hard but lacks quality
CAN - 6.5 pick of the CM's today for me
LALLANA - 6 certainly put a shift in, still a bit lightweight for my liking though
COUTINHO - 5 neat and tidy on the ball without ever really threatening
ORIGI - 5 did okay I thought, Sturridge and Benteke have shown how hard it is to shine up front when your feeding off scraps, does look better out wide than up front though.

MINGOLET - 8 - My MoM, once again produced two great saves that earned us the point.
CLYNE - 6
SKRTEL - 6
SAKHO - 6
MORENO - 6
LUCAS - 6
MILNER - 6
CAN - 6
LALLANA - 7 - His application and desire to win was a tad higher than others and deserves applause
COUTINHO - 6
ORIGI - 4 - Showed occasional skill and isolated for much of the game perhaps BUT when the ball did come his way didn't display the same appetite/fight that the rest of the team were showing, early days but not convinced he has a future with us.

I've given most of the team a 6 as I thought it was overall a good "workmanlike" performance, no obvious stand outs and creativity aside not much wrong , a case of maybe the sum of the team performance being greater than the individual  parts.
