Two brothers each with a PL club, 30 miles apart, friggin unreal !!

Lad on rawk posted it yesterday John , said we've been sold for £585 million and it's the brother of the Man city owner . Said it's with the FA/PL at the minute to decide wether there is a conflict of interest there . He said his source was a member of the old board and trusts him . He's a respected poster and it's deffo out of character for him to post Bullsh!t (28,000 odd posts) . You know what it's like though mate , too many false dawns , so we're all rightly sceptical at the minute . See what happens innit lash .

Lol, posted this on the takeover talk thread, I'm trying to get some info from an emirati friend who has close contacts with the sheikhs in UAE, all I know that there is a deal in place from Sheikh Khalifa to buy Liverpool, it all depends on G+H to sort it.. And its been kept a secret, Sheikh khalifa doesn't like this to go to the media

see i dont hear that, what i hear is that G&H dont care about the club as they have other problems to deal with right now, they handed the power of the club over whewn they put it up for sale and left it to the board and chair to sort the mess out.
I f this has changed in the last week then so be it but this was how it stood on the 10th june.

Lakes: RBS brought in Purslow, BarCap put in Broughton - in anyother and less high profile business, when banks appoint 2 senior officers and take the power of decision making away from the owners its called receivership.

Headline: 'Bank appointed CEO sells club without needing  owners agreement' = not 'dont care' but receivership.

Does that mean what we said a while ago Reg ,that we are in a kind of informal administration . In realty we are being run by the banks?

Administration Never ! (STUNNED SILENCE SHOCK HORROR  )
Does that mean that what the majority of supporters  have been telling us as being gospel for the last few months ... might actually have some credence after all ?
Well I for one am devastated mate its like someone has literally dropped the proverbial piano on me
Oh no if that proves to be true then maybe we will surely start losing our most valuable assets ??? .....once again (SHOCK HORROR ) ???
Oh no our most valuable assets are the players .... and if that comes true then..... Oh no it could only mean we will only be able to find a manager capable of nodding in the affirmative .... Oh no that's   Hodgson isn't it  :(

Everyone knew that clever cloggs.

Even though we are informally in administration it doesn't neccesarily mean all our assets will be sold off.

If a buyer comes in assets won't need to be sold.

Your smugness reads as though you want LFC to go into liquidation just to say "I told you so".  :kungfu:  :no

You presume too much Lad ...  it was penned with tongue firmly in cheek about the naivety of supporters and posters alike who are blessed with the proverbial  blinkers and in which case are  rendered conveniently blind to the condition of the club ......
btw and what new owners are these then  ??? maybe you should loosen yours because if you had taken the time to  read Reg's and Igors posts (Before jumping the gun in your infeasible eagerness to reply to my posts  ) you might have gleamed the owners are going nowhere any time soon ...............

So after my(sarcastic )  post about posters who are willing to believe any grain of conjecture and speculation regarding the club and its ever more elusive new owners (as an alternative to accepting the truth ) rather than deviate from the blinkered view that everything is going to be alright in the end and we're all going to be hunky dory ..... and you believe what ....
This   ??? Go back to watching the football I believe Italy are playing New Zealand maybe one of the commentators will throw a hint as to who our new owners will be  (you don't wanna miss that now do you )
