If he was good enough in training then Rafa would have used him by now. We dont want to slip up against stoke so dont risk him. Use him in the Carling Cup he is :censored: anyway I dont know why people are keen to see him play. The only width he gives is accross his :censored: face when he is smiling which seems to be all the time.

your not his biggest fan then?

---- Reina----------

Arbeloa  Hyypia  Skrtel    Dossena

Babel  Gerrard  Alonso    Riera

Keane  Torres

Play Sami and Skrtel because of the aerial threat.

Dossena needs to hit form.

Xabi and Gerrard in the middle should do the job - Masch to rest

Try 2 wingers, with Babel on the right.

Great chance for Keane to get his first goal.

andy_g wrote:stoke city are a team close to my heart and i never want them to lose - apart from two games this season, that is. this HAS to be 3 points in the bank as there is really no way they can beat us at home, surely to god. it won't be an easy game though. they are a big physical side with a very direct game - imagine bolton on steriods. delap has a long throw that borders on the incredible and so the ball will be heading towards our box anytime the ball goes out of play in our half of the pitch. we need to control the aerial battles, so it's got to be a game for sammi.

if we're lucky we may even get treated to a comedy routine or two if salif diao is included in the stoke squad. i'm sure he'll get a lovely reception

:D

Saw their game v Everton on tv, they certainly aren't averse to resorting to sunday league tactics especially the old  "if yer can't get the ball, get the man" routine.Deffo gonna need players who are up for the physical challenge for this one.

Fecking physical side , worse than bolton . They've got couple of bug guys , faye , sonko , Fuller will be a handful for the defense , tall and great target man . Rory delap's throws are awesome and always dangerous when they are near the penalty box , ask everton , they conceded two goals from it . We need players who are ready to get kicked here and there , strong in the air , unfortunately we have not got much of those in defense bar hypia and maybe carragher .

Reina

Degen         Agger      Hypia       Dossena

Babel          Gerrard    Alonso      Riera

                  Torres     Keane

If we are up for this game , we could slaughter them and we have to make up the huge goal difference that chelsea have , if we're not , i can see us edging out 1 or 2 nil . Up for it , 4 or 5 nil .
