Seems like the easy solution is to pair Crouch with Kuyt ;)

If low confidence is the reason why he is struggling now...then i think sticking him with reserves is the way to go.

Put it this way....he scores loads of goals for them..his confidence returns and bingo he is back to his 1st season form (which is not that impressive to start with).

But if he still struggles to score for the reserves, then.... he has no right to play for the 1st team...

a win-win situation if u ask me..  :p

Really don't want to see Kuyt miss crucial chances again..especially late on when the nails are wearing thin- Start Crouch and Voronin with Harry down the left, brining on Benayoun when he gets buggered.

             Reina
Finnan       JC      Hyppia    Risse
Babel  Macherano  Gerrard  Kewell
         Voronin
                      Crouch

Yee Ha, 1st match of the season for Burjennio :buttrock

He'll go 4-3-3 again, perhaps starting with Kewell, but expect Kuyt and Voronin to be 2 of the 3 forwards although I would epect them to look like Gullit and Van Basten against this Besiktas lot

As poor as we played over there, I wasn't impressed with Besiktas either. They were poor defensively imo.

                                Reina
           Arbeloa      Carra    Hyypia       Aurellio

                            Mascherano

                      Gerrard          Lucas

             Babel            Crouch              Kewell

Just go out and tw@t them. It's do or die.

last line sums it up perfectly mikey.

do or die, tw@tem...

it will be nice to see what we are like when we are going for a win, because lately weve been stagnant just looking happy not to concede. i hope we go for it from the get go and not just try not to concede, could e a pretty interesting game, and we could seriously tw@t a team. this game has come at the perfect time if u ask me

Is that true, Ciggy? That's encouraging.
