The fact is, I think Riera, Alonso, Gerrard, Keane, Torres and Reina are plenty good enough. I also think you could get away with Aurelio and then as centre halfs I think you could get away with Skrtel, Agger, Hyypia or Carragher if partnered by a top centre back. I also think Kuyt's a decent squad player and Arbeloa would make okish back up.

But I'm telling you now, under absoloutely no circumstances is Kuyt good enough to play regularly in a championship winning team. Any "manager" that thinks he is, is stupid. Simple as that.

what the fck are u lot on about... kuyt had a sht game by all standards and apart from his goal he did fck all to impress ! his touch is absolutely awful and the amount of times he goes to the ground when on the ball just to try and pass it when hes lost possession is an absolute joke ! he tried a couple of through balls and im pretty sure even carragher would hav done a better job trying to pick out the runs of torres and keane with all the space and time kuyt had ! on the ball with no psv player in sight and he gives it away ! absolutely shocking !

dont care if hes a goalie played out of position.. if he plays there and starts week in week out then i have a certain level of expectations from the lad and he quite simply isnt living up to it !
im not blaming kuyt for being sht in that position i think hed make a good backup striker but for rafa to stick with him down that right side with all he does is criminal !

Your ongoing rants about Kuyt are incredibly dull at this point in time. When are you going to wake up and smell the coffee ? Do you not realise how boring it is to see the same charges again and again levelled against Kuyt ?
Fact: He is not the most skilful player ever to play in a Red jersey.
Fact: There are others a lot more clever with their use of the ball.
Fact: He gives 110% each and every game.
Fact: He has scored a dozen or so hugely important goals in his career with LFC so far.
...And there's his unbelievable workrate in chasing down lost causes, never giving up etc...
If you can't see THAT, you need a lot of help.

Now, please, do us all a favour and shut your hoop !

1 goal and and gave the ball to torres to cross to keane ,which gave us a 2 goal lead what more can you ask for ?

great.. another almighty happy clapper ! so its okay to come on and say that he had a great game but its not okay to come and say he's been ?! wtf are u on about ! everyone has an opinion and if u dont like my posts u can shove them rite up there with ur condescending tone !

if u read my post its a reflection on last night's game and how he played last night ur post on the other hand is just a repeat of all the useless excuses given by some on here to try and justify a player who would otherwise be seen as an absolute joke of a footballer ! we all know he works hard and gives 110% and all that sht so maybe ur the one who needs to give it a break !

well watching him last night he had the odd dodgy touch just like everyone else , he kept possession and lost it just like everyone else , he took players on and got past them and sometimes didnt just like everyone else , he showed great skill and strength to hold off three players going round two of them to release torres to set up keanes goal and scored himself , plus his normal tracking back and workrate and defending . A good performance from kuyt. Far more positives once again than negatives once again last night . The rants of ace and fodne are blinkered in the fact they just dont like him .

the thing is jimmy some people happy to give balanced views of the player and off his performance but the odd people , not yourself , just give the same negative stuff every single time no matter how he has played the game before and how well he did or didnt do . Last night he was one of our better performers and got his rewards yet some wont give any credit when it is once again deserved .

i'm concerned that the forum is lacking the required level of pedantry. in an attempt to rectify this i'd like to point out that its impossible for a player to give 110% in any match.

the thing is jimmy some people happy to give balanced views of the player and off his performance but the odd people , not yourself , just give the same negative stuff every single time no matter how he has played the game before and how well he did or didnt do . Last night he was one of our better performers and got his rewards yet some wont give any credit when it is once again deserved .

Personally, I thought he did ok. I didn't think he was one of the better players, he wasn't one of the worst either.

I think that sums up Kuyt in general for me, that could describe most of his performances.

Please to see him on the scoresheet again in Europe, I'd like to see it more in domestic matches.
