I live in Birkenhead and attend the game about 4-5 times a season, last game i missed totally was Villa away...why ??

I think in my explanation i explained that i actually like Kuyt, but also explained that he is letting the side down with his limitations.
If you disagree sound, feel free to comeback, but dont come out with sh!te like when did you last go the game, as i go enough and live and work around the city.

well the thing is you see a lot of what goes on in the match and a lot of stuff during the match that cameras dont pick up . hence why the majority of people at the games are appreciative of what kuyt brings to the team and you can see why he gets such high praise from players like gerrard and torres .

How do you know the MAJORITY of match goers appreciate Kuyt?
I was in the Kop Saturday and can categorically confirm he was getting a fair bit of stick.

Also, Gerrard and Torres aren't exactly gonna be slagging him off are they?

GYBS i think you're getting alot of us  wrong. we love Kuyt. we really think he is a nice guy and hardworking player but we just dont think he should be in the first 11 week in week out. i know what he brings to the team. i even feel he should play against everscum as its a game where players like him are needed. but to say Berba is a better striker then Kuyt...thats...out of this world.

nope - i think berbatov is very skillful and looks lovely on the ball and is techincally better than kuyt but would rather have kuyt for what he brings to the whole team with the whole package with his teamwork and ethics and his workrate and his ability to cover different areas , back up  the full back , defend from the front . work his fecking of for the whole ninety mins and put his whole heart and soul into playing for liverpool as opposed to someone who plays just for themselves.

I think it's impossible to dislike the guy - his endeavour alone is admirable, and for that, combined with the fact he seems like a really genuinely sound bloke, I hope he does well, I really do.

But it's not about whether I like him or think he's a good guy.

Until this hattrick when he lays on another 3 in a 6-0 drubbing that I heard about before, I will maintain he is a very, very limited footballer.

Just the "blind stupidness" remark - I'm not having a go or anything, I'm just asking as I'm new so unsure as to what I can and can't get away with saying!

My warning was just from another poster replying to me - one who seems to have a chip on his shoulder, and was happy enough to sling insults around himself, which only added to the confusion!

I guess it's not an official warning from the powers, just an idle threat from another poster - welcome to the board indeed!

i feel Berba is a better player, not just a striker. he has his attitude issues. but so did Cantona, Roy Keane, Totti, Cassano, etc.

cause its the impression i get every week . and from people around me and from people i know who sit in other areas of the ground - yeah he gets stick pretty much like every other player gets stick during a game
