Credit where its due
Everything he did worked out well
Well done Dickie

its just the inability to trap a bag of sand alongside the 2nd touch is a tackle that holds the labrador back. Bless.

He´s what, 30 now, so finished at 32. Thats what the new owners want isnt it, with the option to renegotiate on a lower wage thereafter which makes sense.

He's deserved it 100%.  He's worked very hard and has really came up with some key goals this season.  He loves the club and makes sure that everybody knows it.

I'm glad to have you Dirk.  Next year may be hard for him to get so much playing time, but I love to have him as a squad player.  Not many that deserve that more than him.

Very happy for him, well deserved.  People underestimate how much it means when a player genuinely loves the club sometimes, players that play for the shirt should always be supported.  Whether they are good enough or not is irrelevant, that is up to the manager to decide not us.  Watching Kuyt and Lucas over the years has made me view players like them in a different way.  Spearing is the next one that I can think of that is in the same boat as Lucas/Kuyt, he gives it everything he's got when he plays, sometimes it's good enough sometimes it isn't but they should always be applauded for the effort that they consistently give us.

Anyway Kuyt is a great player, he's hit 10+ goals for us every season he's been here and hopefully it continues next season.

Kuyt had some terrible touches against arsenal but then his teams including suarez had some suspect passing also. Well done to get a point but that display in football terms looked like 10 blind guys humping a ball. Not easy on the eye.

Really wish you wouldn't say things like that  :D
By the way, when is the last time that Reina saved a bloody pen!

I was expecting Suarez to start taking the pens tbh. But good to know we have a few that can step up when required.

:buttrock

Although they wouldnt be in my first 11, 16 even 25 in an ideal world. In reality they are great squad players to have.

Kuyt scored 6 in 7 games now?
he was signed from Feynood with a goal scoring record that can rivaled van nes and
Suarez and he showed consistency for 2-3 seasons.
sometimes i wondered whether sticking him in RM role killed his game.
did rafa's mismanagement killed him?

but bless his soul, nvr hear him complain once, people may not appreciate him,
but will do when he retires and we will look back and see that he is a wonderful servant for the club.

He scored goals under Rafa as well - he had one poor season in the prem at the same time as his father died - apart from that he has reached double figures each season - playing out right or left or up front .
