No, my faculties are not intact, I've just got back from a walk round the Albert Dock and I had to go and cool off with a couple of scoops after that. Combining alcohol and the sunshine while you're still in the office is never a good thing!!!

I know the Jermaine Defoe rumour is probably (almost definetly) rubbish. But is it just me that would love to see him here, he is a very good player in the Ian Wright type of mould. He has it all (heading?) and will only get better. I really do think that tottenham would consider a move if the price is right, as they would have more money to buy more of the young players they have been buying lately. Also they have Kanoute,Keane and Mido (thought his contract/loan deal was being cancelled, but he scored on saturday!) as strikers....Just a thought!!!!

Anyway back to the point!...Crouch is no more than a "donkey" Rafa will be making a Big mistake if he signs him. He has no proven track record is no more than an average player. If i were rafa i would consider offering Madrid say £750,000 for Figo, rather than waste £7-8 mill on a "DONKEY"?. :nod

I would rather pay the 2 millions for Figo rather than having Crouch but it's Rafa's decision after all. I guess he knows what he is doing.

no. rafa said that the figo transfer is not going to be followed up.
