When was the last time Spurs finished above Liverpool? Most of you lot wern't even alive !

So its hardly that Rafa has raised us to a higher level, more that Spurs have been so low for so long.

I do believe we have a much better team than spurs though. I can't think of one world class player in the Spurs team, I can think of at least 4 in ours. So I am pretty confident that we will finish above them next season.

Maybe we should try comparing ourselves to Wigan next

We've already got a top manager, so that is not the issue with his posts whatsoever. What we do need is a board who doesn't f*ck about and cut into the manager's transfer budget to drip feed the debt they put us in. If a manager makes a sale of a player and get's 2-300% profit on that player, then that profit should be used towards strengthening the squad, no excuses. Some are banging on about what a top prospect this club is for top managers, when we're spending like a mid-table side, if even, instead of one of the biggest clubs on the planet for the past several seasons.
