And why would you think that a manager that has FAILED to win the prem for 6 years is suddenly going to turn things around ?

Because up until this season i saw an improvement each season with us getting better and better and getting closer to challenge and think IMO this season is a blip that we can recover from

Nah mate we played better football in 2005/6 than we did in  either 2006/7 or 2007/8, while in 2008/9 we played good football for 3 months , and then this season has been poor beyond belief. So a 4 and 3/4 year blip  :D

but as been stated its all about results saint - we may of played better football but the end result is all that matters .

We finished with 82 points in 2005/6
we finished with 68 points in 2006/7
we finished with 76 points in 2007/8

Its all about results and the table backs ME up.

and 08/09 saint ?

Still only one year if I conceeded it which I don't. We played poor football for most of last season (obviously nothing like this season but still poor )Started to play in March and had a good run through to the end of the season.

Results saint - top going into jan so we must of done something right before jan .

08/09 was an improvement once again on 07/08 just as 07/08 was an improvement on 06/07 . 05/06 i put our results down to not suffering any injuries that season and being able to field the strongest 11 in the prem due to being knocked out of the cl early . 06/07 we had to juggle the prem and CL ( got to the final ) as well as having a lot of new players , the next season we improved again and then again the season afterwards .

You can't deny we made progress last season. You can't be 'lucky' over a whole season so all that talk is nonsense.

but after every good season we have a poor season, surely thats not progressing at all.

exactly, and at times you could mistake Rafa and Houllier in the post-match interview
“You cannot transfer the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club, although I am sure there are many clubs who would like to buy it.”

Not saying its all down to the players - the manager takes responsibility as well - i have seen them get close to winning it when they are on form and playing well and i believe they can play well again and challenge again .

Are you mad?
How can Rafa be responsible?
He pick the team he believes will win the game
If the players dont win how is it his fault?

???

Only joking
Its all Rafas fault
He has fu'cked up royally this season and only a fool would deny it.

Fowler E7 made an excellent point about players not following instructions. Maybe the instructor hasnt got a fu'ckin igloo?

WE had three season in a row of improvement up until this season and while we havent played well this season we have also suffered awfully with injuries - the sort i believe we wont suffer again next year as well as having our best players woefully short of form .

Im happy to believe that next season we will get back up there challenging .

Or maybe the players just arent playing well - maybe they are following his instructions but due to being off form its just not working for them .

Can Rafa be blamed for the Individual errors that cost us earlier on in the season ? the poor marking , the pens given away ? the misplaced pass ? the shocking misses in front of goal .

Something wrong ?

The pattern is quite simple to follow - the further we went in the CL the worse our league results got until last season when we started to challenge on both fronts.

This season? We haven't been unlucky, we have been :censored: poor and the players have themselves to blame, manager too. There is no denying that but before we can look at a new manager we need to look at the clubs future as that will determine what kind of manager we go for next, if we do that is.

Mmmm
Maybe we should have got knocked out of the CL earlier this season (it was a shambles anyway) so we could have focussed on the League?

which ones were those? 07/08 was an improvement and 06/07 and 08/09 was better than 07/08. After 05/06 we had a good team which looked like it was going places then Rafa decided to rip that team apart and we were terrible in 06/07. The same with last year, we have a good season and now its come to a shuddering halt, so clearly after every bit of progress we go back to square one.

Which is why I mentioned a plan
Either Rafa hasnt got a clue or his "plan" isnt working
Either way were fu'cked

Apologies two season in a row we got stronger and improved then ,yes yeah we have been poor this season but believe we can get back to the good stuff next season as the majority of players from last season are still here plus we are adding another very good player next season .
