New Manager - Who would you have? (merged thread)

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I'd take any of Hiddink, Mourinho or Capello.

I wouldn't want O'Neill or Rijkaard.

Trappatoni and Lippi are quality managers but getting on a bit.  Similarly I think Dalglish has been out of it too long now and would be a bad choice.

All hypothetical of course, the yanks won't sack Benitez because it will cost them.  The only way a change of manager will come around is if Benitez walks.  He's probably too stubborn for that though.

If we had O'Neil and I met him, I'd punch him in his smug squashed squinty face... sorry

Sure you would Dawson  :)

I think Rafa will have to walk, especially after his "I guarantee 4th place" speech earlier in the season.

Nah, he'll blame his comments on media pressure or something other than himself

Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I would love to see Capello as our manager but I would also love to see Maureen. In fact I just want to see the back of Rafa, I can't imagine anybody being much worse at the moment.

sorry Heimdall but that's far too harsh on Rafa, fair enough you don't like him, we all know that but some of your comments about Rafa are bang out of order
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

fed up of rafa now... fed up of his negative tactics, fed up of him starting kuyt and lucas every game.

what's really dug the nail in as far as it can go though, is that he has bought a player for £20 Million.. a player who i think has the potential to really develop into something special and he isnt even giving him a chance ffs. He's already wasting Aquilani.

if hew took the job right now i am sure the resluts would be better.

as for what he will do once he is here, well he would be looking to spend around 45-50 mil in the summer window.

one fear the fan must get over about Rafa going is that its going to coist us loads, it will not, the results are poor so its only a small goodbye, oh and if Rafa is sacked they will not be loads of top players going with him, in fact if Mourinho took over they will be begging to stay.

What the F*CK is wrong with your profile? Are you a sicko or just into men's greased-up bodies?

Hopefully Real Madrid sacks their manager...... And If benitez's agent was telling the truth all along in the last 3 seasons (or whenever something goes wrong :p).....hopefully Real Madrid will then headhunt for Benitez and bam....no more $20 million early termination fee....

It would interesting to see Benitez in madrid.....playing  Higuain as a central midfield, dropping ronaldo for the 2nd best right winger in the world .... Kuyt(according to stats) assuming he takes him over to madrid that is ... :wwww. Just a joke....please don't jump on my back lando. :p

Yeah I think he'll jump ship if Madrid come knocking in the summer, we aren't going to finish forth and he will get that much stick I think he'll have no choice but to leave.

What the f*ck are you on about, knobhead? I am talking about his photograph of gay men looking like a pack of pansies. I didn't even read his post, let alone take any interest in the date it was posted.

You numpty.
