If we really must wait until the end of the season however, our options for a new manager may be slightly reduced. It's unlikely we'll have Champions Lerague football to use as a draw, and the new manager is likely to have to move out some of the dross we've currently got before he can buy.
I like Mourinho as our new manager obviously as I very much rate his abilities in terms of getting players to play to the maximum of their potential. Getting Aquiani up to a level where he is good enough to shift the colossus that is Lucas out of the first team though may prove to be beyond even the most special of new managers. He'd be my first pick though without a doubt.
right?in the real world of business (and we are a business now) it's ultimately up to the board and the owners if a man should move on, and not you, Heimdall, or anyone else
And yes, we have to wait until the end of the season

He has a proven record in winning things quickly upon arriving at a club. Just read this Premier League blog about Liverpool questioning if the club is ever going to win another title. I think put Mourinho in charge and we will have one within 2 years of him taking the helm. I know this may be seen as optimistic but i think with his track record you cannot scoff at this suggestion.

Call me when you get back from dreamland.
I'll bet anything that we won't win the title in 5 years unless the ownership situation changes.
Besides, if you are bored to death with Rafa's philosophy, why do you want Mourinho of all managers who might be the one who plays the most boring style of football ever!
And please, Mourinho wins titles fast?
So he gets a couple of hundred million right away with Chelski and then moves to the two time reigning champions in Italy with the best squad and a team even Mancini managed to win with...
