i dont think he's smug. he defends his team. or thats my take on it... but hey even if he is smug, all managers have their floors

i just think he'd be fantastic for this club and actually take them forward

(and villa play good football)

O'neil would be my pick of the British managers but Mourinho is the standout candidate.

Wenger is the fantasy football option.

Whoever it is they will want money to spend, especially these continental managers.

I'd only have either Mourinho or Capello. But again it all really comes down to how much £ we will have in the summer. Otherwise the owners could just look to get a yes man in.

You can't rule out a good manager because he's smug apparently or the ex-manager of a team you don't like for whatever reason
