Kuyt is an absolute embarrassment to whole LFC and Liverpool fans, it is an obsolute disgrace to see Benitez select him every game ahead of Babel, Crouch [when he was at LFC], Al zahr, Keane, Torres, and even Ngog or Nemeth!, He is well over priced when Benitez bought for £10 Millions, he does not worth 10p, I am astonished.

don't hold back son say it as you see it

we ALL know he has short comings but to say he is an embarrassment is a bit strong, he has served the club as well as he could have, yes maybe not as well as we would have liked but as well as he could have

yes he is not a wonder goal scorer but he is no winger and that is where he is being played so as long as he plays there we will NEVER see any better from him

sorry but i WOULD play him above ngog and nemeth as at the moment imo he is better than them

i'm not saying i am a kuyt lover but he frustrates the hell out of me and i do not know why rafa sticks with him for every game but he does?? so we have to live with it and hope that he can come up with some thing that helps the team on the day

Funny how whenever we dont win a game, whether the reason is strikers or poor defending, people always blame the same player. What great fans we are to be so narrow minded.

Palacios is on the verge of joining Spurs for 12m, the face Kuyt cost ten, puts it into perspective a bit. Why oh why does the lad play when the only talent he has is being able to run a marathon every game. And weve just let Pennant go? When hes got most attributes you need in a winger? I dont know sometimes, I really dont know.

7 goals this season as probably just as many asissts, plus loving the shirt hes in, giving 110%, working with the team, never getting booked (this season anyway)

Would you rather have pennant play? Who is here for the money, not the shirt. Yeah he may have scored/set up mroe, but Kuyt's done his fair share for the team this season.

If more players had his heart and desire maybe we wouldn;t keep drawing to mediocre teams

no point pennant having attributes to be a good winger when he hardly ever applies it during the game . Like i have said name any other games bar cl game and chelsea game where pennant did very well , starred ? Is productivity was never enough despite having talent . He will do well at pompey , small club .

Couldn't agree more, the treatment that some of our players get from our own fans is shocking. :no

i mean it's fine to criticise his football when he does have poor game, same with Gerrard or Torres, but to call the lad a "clown" or an "Embarrassment" after almost every game just needs to stop.

i'll stand by all our players till the day they sign for someone else but i'll stand by Kuyt more so for the simple reason that when he does pull on our clubs shirt, although he may not be as effective as some of our other options on the bench, at least he looks like he can be arsed playing.

IMO the lad has as much passion for LFC as Gerrard or Carragher, and for that alone deserves repect in itself.

Either way whether or not you are pro or anti Kuyt you cannot deny that he gives his all an doesn't deserve personal insults thrown at him!

Rant over sorry, normally keep my opinons to myself and just read other peoples (don't think i could bear bein in the middle of all the animosity on these boards

) but i just thought i'de air this one for once! :laugh:

I admire his attitude Daws mate, I cant fault the lad for it, and ive stated in the past the same as you I wish half our players had that desire. Yeah Pennants a bit of a prima donna an so on, but hes got pace, can but a lovely ball in and can be a nightmare for defenders. The fact Kuyts scored 7 this season deflects away from the fact that most of the time he is poor, no other word for it. People need to see past the smoke of his imperfections sometimes. Its not all his fault by any means, he isnt a winger. But if you look at the wingers other teams have, likes of Young, Ronaldo, Malouda, Cole, Nani, to name but a few, Kuyt isnt no where near there league. They all can beat a man, whip a ball in, chip in with a fair few, and keep the teamplay flowing forward . The fact Liverpool, a club who wants to challenge for the league, have to settle for someone who just closes defenders down , and most of the time not much else, is terrible I think.

He's been rubbish for months now, and before his little run at the start of the season, he was sh!t last season as well.

He's the scape goat because he is, in fact, sh!t

Ok, now... looks like Kuyt not that bad just in scoring, and we know hes set up a load, and does a lot more defending than the others
